Hi Tim,
thanks for asking. The Multifaces are powered. I even tried with
higher voltages to make sure that this doesn't cause problems.

Orm,
I know it sounds obvious but is the Multiface powered up? Had the same
problem with a Multiface on a Compaq, everything looked ok, tested up
but just forgot that with the Cardface there is no self powering for the
Multiface through the firewire connection, this only works for the PCI
card.
Hi,
on my new Dell Precision M4400 (64bit dual core) with Ubuntu
intrepid, hdsploader won't download the firmware to the Multiface. The
pcmcia card is recognized on insertion and the snd-hdsp module
loaded. I tried with two different Multifaces and two different PCMCIA
Cards. The firmware loads f

Hi,
I'm trying to get my RME hdsp-pci+multiface working using the latest
alsa 0.9.7a, and kernel 2.4.22 (with lowlat, preempt and 1000Hz patches).
And this is the output I get from hdsploader:
] hdsploader - firmware loader for RME Hammerfall DSP cards

I'm trying to get my new RME DSP card (pci interface and multiface) to run
on a Debian/unstable system. As alsa-tools is not packaged (yet?) I compiled
from source, which looked to my (unexperienced) eye as being successful.
But I always have to call hdsploader twice:
hdsploader

Hello all,
my hammerfall is starting to drive me up the wall or perhaps it is
the alsa drivers!
hdsploader gives me a segfault when I run it.
kernel 2.4.18, alsa 0.9.4 (0.9.3 does the same), gcc 2.95.4
I have 2 dell 8200 laptops with (supposedly) identical configurations.
On one, alsa 0.9
