Already put in devfsd.conf and also restarted devfsd, doesn't seem to work. Also compiled the kernel with OSS sound support. The modules are being loaded, I can see them all using lsmod: - start [root@asaf alsa-driver-0.9.0beta8a]# /sbin/lsmod Module Size Used by snd-card-int

Hi! I am using kernel 2.4.13 with devfs. I compiled ALSA driver 0.9.0beta8a. I managed to modprobe it, but devfs doesn't seem to create an entry for it in /dev/dsp /dev/sound/dsp etc. When I modprobe it the speaker makes a little noise, so I believe that the modules are being loaded correctly. I
