Hey Lee: I have been using Linux since 1998 and my problem getting the Realtek/snd-hda-intel card to work has been the most challenging Linux task I have ever run accross. Following your many suggestions I now have the following installed. Latest Slackware 2.4.32 kernel complete source code

Hi, I have some kind of conflict with my Realtek ALC880 Sound Card, my Realtek 8139 Network Card and my acpi system with 2.6.13 kernel. I can get the sound working ( Slackware Package alsa-driver-1.0.9b_2.6.13-i486.1.tgz from Slackware 10.2 ) but not the eth0. If I dont load the sound module
