Hey Lee:
I have been using Linux since 1998 and my problem getting the
Realtek/snd-hda-intel card to work has been the most challenging Linux
task I have ever run accross. Following your many suggestions I now
have the following installed.
Latest Slackware 2.4.32 kernel complete source code

Hi,
I have some kind of conflict with my Realtek ALC880 Sound Card, my
Realtek 8139 Network Card
and my acpi system with 2.6.13 kernel. I can get the sound working (
Slackware Package
alsa-driver-1.0.9b_2.6.13-i486.1.tgz from Slackware 10.2 ) but not the
eth0. If I dont load
the sound module
