The file bx_1_vxp.b56 does exist in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/vxAlsa-firmware
1.0.10 was compiled from source which matches the Mepis package
versions for alsa-firmware-loaders, alsa-tools, alsa-utils, alsa-base,
