I am attempting to use muse but am having problems with spurious MIDI
events. For the moment the setup is real simple
Physically: [keyboard]--->[computer]--->[sound module]
Within muse I create a new track with appropriate receive and transmit
channels but when I try to record the result is n
I just installed ALSA using the Planet CCRMA package. The instillation
went well but I'm having configuration problems. The most serious is an
artsmessage error: "Sound server fatal error, CPU overload, Aborting."
This message usually, but not always, appears whenever I log in using
KDE. It doesn'

The new kernel boots but running sndconfig also fails
to locate es1371.0
At this point I have two questions.
1) Is this the correct kernel configuration?
2) If 1 is yes why is es1371.o not being found?
