rd (a cardbus card, in a Ricoh pcmcia adapter), not a pci card.  Is the module configured for pci cards, not pcmcia cards? Thanks. --Mike Nolley Celebrate Earth Day everyday! Discover 10 things you can do to help slow climate change. Yahoo! Earth Day

Hi.  I've narrowed down the problems with the Layla.  I decided to reinstall everything, with Fedora 3 and all of the new Alsa drivers, firmware, tools, etc.  The whole shebang.  The problem is inserting the Layla.  I get this error, documented in the install notes at http://www.webalice.it/g_pochi

probably wrong. There is a long thread at http://lalists.stanford.edu/lad/2003/03/0160.html discussing the lack of drivers available for the Layla 24 Cardbus.  There is source available in C++, but I don't know if I have the experience to compile something.  Thanks for your help. -
