Hi.  I have installed the Alsa drivers and utilities on Fedora 4 as per http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=Echo+Digital
+Audio+Corporation&card=Layla24-CARDBUS.&chip=Motorola+56361%2C+FPGA
&module=layla24

However, my Layla card is still not recognized.  The Ricoh Co. RL5c475 PCMCIA adapter mediates between the Layla24 cardbus and the system.  The adapter is recognized by my system, but not the Layla.  Editing modprobe.conf didn't help.  On bootup, it tried to recognize the hardware, but none was found.  On another forum, someone with a similar problem disabled "apic", since no IRQ was being assigned to the sound card in question.  He was running Mandrake, but I am running Fedora 4.  Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Mike Nolley
