I've been corresponding with Giuilano P. about problems I've been having with the layla 24 cardbus and Alsa.  The card works fine under windows XP, but the drivers under Fedora have been failing.  I tried disabling ACPI, but that didn't work.  I think that Fedora isn't properly recognizing the Layla through the cardbus adapter.  It seems to think that it is a video capture card.  Attached is the dmesg file in verbose format.  If anyone has any insights about this, I'd appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Mike Nolley

--- Begin Message --- There were a few errors during the compile, but it didn't seem to affect things.  I could recompile and get those for you.  Attached is the new verbose dmesg file.   Also, I can tell you any of the specifics about my setup, like the brand of the cardbus bridge, etc. etc.
