hen I use it in Linux.
You might try raising the "Digital" mixer control to 100%, I had to play with
that to get the microphone to work on my laptop with Intel HDA. Also you have
three "Capture" switches, only one of them was enabled when you ran the script.
Did you try swi

Hi,
I'm having trouble getting USB audio playback to work at a 96kHz
sampling rate. The problem is that if I play a .wav file from the
command line with aplay ("aplay blah.wav") everything's fine for awhile,
but if I put any load on the machine (i.e., open a browser, etc) the

Hi!I'm trying to use the optical S/PDIF out on my Abit KN8-Ultra motherboard (nForce4 based).I've managed to set things up so that I can play PCM data and AC3 data using my Sony STR-925 receiver. The only problem left, is that when I start playing an AC3 stream, after playing PCM data, the receiver
mixers, on "consumer" sound cards. This is my first
"semi-professional"
sound card.

Does anyone know how I can use the SPDIF-Port on the Meastro 3i in my

I could not get it to output anything using quite a lot of experimenting
and research with mplayer, xine and ac3dec.

Hi All,
I am trying to get my Midiator Midi interface working with ALSA0.9.0beta 12. I
am trying to insert the snd-serial-u16550 module. My /etc/modules.conf
seems to have the right options for this card.
Does anyone have a Midiator Midi interface working with the ALSA support?

Hi,
I have a Midiator MS-124w. I would like to get this running under alsa.
I am running beta 0.9.0beta11.
I thought that the module that I need to run this is the snd-serial.o module.
Has this been changed to snd-serial-u16550.o?
I am unable to find any snd-serial.o or documentation on the c

i? Simultaneous analog
recording and playback over spdif is no solution because of the delay caused
by the recording buffer. I just need something like a 'analog-in to spdif-out
monitor' function.
