I've got Alsa 1.0.2c, gamix 1.99p14, and an M-Audio Revolution 7.1 sound card.
I'm utterly stumped as to how to use gamix to adjust the recording levels on the line input. Any clue? I find gamix to be utterly non-intuitive, and maybe it's just because I'm used to OSS mixers, on "consumer" sound cards.
