My new emu 1212M PCI soundcard is playing music a semitone higher than it should. This is not a new problem - it's been that way since I installed the soundcard (which was only a couple of weeks ago). I just gave a bass guitar lesson and had my student put a capo on the first fret to play along

I finally got my emu 1212 M card working under fedora 7. I am using Alsa v1.0.14. I don't see L and R speaker levels (I guess they would be L and R analogue OUTs as that is where my cable takes to signal to the amplifier). Did stereo come in after v1.0.14. Just kidding. Am I thinking wrongly ab

I just joined this list. This is my first post. I bought a semi-pro soundcard (E-MU 1212 M PCI) to replace my SBL! 51. It was a hundred bucks, used, from L&McQ. So, it does not come with a manual. I have three things (at least) to work through: 1. No sound. I'm getting no sound out of it at all
