I run a HP nx9005 notebook with a docking station (port replicator) F808b.
The nx9005 comes with an ALI 5451 soundchip.

(with 2GB ram), running redhat 9 (kernel 2.4.20-24.9).

with the version of ALSA that comes with the 2.6.x kernel sources, there is
only one playback stream with the VideoLogic SonicFury soundcard using the
cs46xx module.
