I have SB Audigy Player and 5.1 analog speakers.I've installed RC7, and
everything is OK but front speakers: left and right. These two speakers

I have a VIA8233A on a A7V8X motherboard. I have installed Alsa with
rpms. It is not working. I find the following error messages in the
messages log file :

Is the Revolution card supported and will it be in the futures? Is it even

I had already installed alsa-kernel 2.4.18_19.8 rpm along with alsa-driver,
alsa-lib, alsa-lib-devel and alsa-utils. But at that time, my kernel was
2.4.18-14. So, I wasn't able to play sound through any means, either through
XMMS or some other way. Even at KDE startup, it displayed an erro
I have tryed to install alsa 0.9 rc6 on my system, a shuttle MV42N
motherboard with a VT8233 chip (ac97 codec)
System: Debian, kernel 2.4.19 with alsa-modules 2.4.19 and alsa 0.9 rc6.
