truthfully it isn't the only problem I am having with hardware. But I am
not so sure I will dump my distro do quick.
I got my internet connection down pat and now I have no interest in
starting from scratch.

Once you have that file don't forget to run any of the "make *config"
commands and save the changes in the end.

Is there a way to get 6-channel audio from this card+codec?
I'm trying to get my GA-7VAXP on-board audio work.
I tried both alsa rc3 and CVS with vt8233 and vt82xx modules, same result.
Only front speakers work.
