Hi everybody, I have compiled and installed alsa-driver, alsa-lib, alsa-utils for my Terratec EWX24/96 souncard. The ice-1712 and oss modules are loaded by modules.conf but when I try to play a sound file I get no sound from the analog output. Alsamixer works but I cannot open any other mixer device e.g. KMix In fact cat /dev/mixer returns "invalid argument" I cannot hear any sound also using aplay. Do I have to install also the alsa-tool package? I have made any mistake? Thanks Stefano
