When I record on (inbuilt) mic on DELL laptop, I get constant background
"tic tic tic" - may be at about 100 bpm or something:
arecord -r 44100 t.wav
I get the same when recording using ardour, eg. the following signal
path:
ardour <- jack <- alsa
Is it a maestro3/ inbuilt mic problem?
Don't

Does anyone have the SB Audigy 2 working? ALSA gives no errors or
warnings that I see, but I get no sound. (I'm using kernel 2.4.18-x.).
