Thanks, Jason- I appreciate the response, however, I don't see that
AdWords Editor actually allows Importing of files that result in the
creation of new campaign, ads, etc... Am I missing something in
AdWords Editor?

Hello Ardy,
You have a number of options, including many commercial third-party
applications that were built on top of the AdWords API. If you're
looking for a free desktop application, Google's AdWords Editor might
fit the bill:

Hi-
we run a lot, hundreds, of adgroups through adwords and would like to
do substantially more and refresh these periodically, so we're looking
for an application that allows bulk uploading of AdGroups/Campaigns to
AdWords through the API-- does anyone have suggestions for such
applications?

Hello,
Are you using the .NET client library we provide (http://
code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/clients.html), or are you generating
your own classes from the WSDLs? If you're using the client library
then there's information about enabling logging in the README, and it
involves modifying you
Thanks for the speedy response.
Being honest, I'm new to SOAP, etc., so it's gonna take me a few
minutes to find out how to setup the SOAP trace.
And, yes, I can manually delete the report. My concern would be that
the same thing is going to happen when I get valid structure reports

OK, not sure how to generate XML / SOAP trace info with .NET.
I found this page, but nothing about .NET.

If you could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
Thanks!

Hello,
My guess would be that because Structure reports don't have an
associated start and end date, the .NET XML deserializer is unable to
convert that empty value to a DateTime object when trying to process
the results of the getAllJobs() call. If you could turn on SOAP
logging in your client
Hi,
I'm running into an error where a previously scheduled and completed
structure report is sitting and waiting in my account (happens to be
an MCC account). As long as that report is there, when I run
GetAllJobs, i get the following error: (running .NET 3.5)

Yes, that was the problem. Conversion Tracking was not enabled for any
of the client accounts.
Thank You. :)

Hello,
There aren't any automated methods in the AdWords API for doing this
sort of correlation. The only information we provide is the static
list of supported codes at

I don't know if there's a way to get clever
Hello,
I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to correlate a city, county,
or zip code to a Google Metro Code?
For instance, I know that Penfield, NY is part of the Rochester
region, but is there any way to obtain a list of this from Google?
Thanks.

Hello Afzaal,
I think you really need to spend some time familiarizing yourself
with AdWords reports in general. A good place to start would be to use
the AdWords web interface to schedule some reports (which will not
incur any usage fees) and find the right mix of columns and report
types to ge
Hello J.E.,
The easiest way to answer questions like these is to schedule some
test reports using the AdWords web interface and then download the XML
representation of them. For the most part, columns present in the
AdWords web interface will correspond to columns available via the

Hello Doug,
I'm afraid that I can't comment on whether or when certain features
may appear in future releases of the AdWords API.
The only interface to campaign-level exclusions are the existing get/
setCampaignNegativeCriteria() methods in the CriterionService. I do
want to be clear that as t
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your reply.
Can you tell me that is there any possibility of the following:
1. Can we get a report against a specific campaign?
2. Can we get a report against a specific group?
3. Can we get a report against a specific advertisement?
4. Is the report generated is only for
I often find myself wondering what the exact meaning of a particular
report column is. If there is a good set of documentation for that,
can someone point me to it?
