To run expiration for one node use the following undocumented
parameters:
expire inventory beginnode= endnode=
To get the node numbers, use the following case-sensitive commands from
a dsmadmc session:
create sqltable Nodes Mynodes
select c0,c1 from Mynodes order by c1
drop sqlt
We need 4-6 hours for 90GB DB, ~100 clients. The servers have LOTS of
files.

The MAXSESSIONS value determines the number of sessions that can run.
MAXSCHEDSESSIONS is the percentage of MAXSESSIONS that can run from a schedule.
MAXSESSIONS is set in the dsmserv.opt file. The TSM server application will
have to be restarted for the changes to take effect.
Hope it helps,

We run 'move data' processes on 'filling' tapes to reduce the percent
migratable value for our virtual tape pools. This allows us to allocate
fewer volumes to the storage pools.

I created Unix code to generate the archive command needed for a full
server backup minus nfs mount points. The archive management class is
hard coded in the script. It saves me from having to recreate the
command when file systems are added/removed. Contact me offline if you
want a copy.

Harold,
Use 'q stg' to see which storage pool has the target pool defined as
'next'. Update the storage pool definition so the target pool is no
longer 'next'.

The tar extract command allows single files to be recalled if the
