of the SCSI adapters and four of our 3590 drives, and running cfgmgr
doesn't get them back. We are at 4.1.3.0 TSM server level, and the latest
for Atap

The weird thing is that the other 5 SCSI adapters are found, as are two of
the 3590 drives.

was the complexity of setting up the schedulers, so the DBAs assumed
responsibility of monitoring those backups and ran them thru Oracle's CRON

usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin64 and /../oracle/bin64 directories.

FWIW, on AIX, even if you aren't backing up NFS mounts, if one of the
mounts is hung, then your incremental is hosed and it terminates. I
started noticing this behaviour in/around the 3.7 code level.

If I remember correctly, it means that there is some type of corruption on
the client. You should ask them to run chkdsk /f on the drive in question,
and then see if you still get the error.

Steve-- from my experience, you are better off just sending the label
failures back. We kept relabelling the Imations, and even though we got
most of them (eventually) labelled, they have been failing since then
(thankfully, no lost data).

I think what Justin said about having to do extra steps is right (needing
additional filesets, specifically)-- I am at ML9, but when I look at the
levels of the filesets, they are still below what is indicated as being
unaffected, and the instfix doesn't show that APAR.
