TDPO 2.2 and Oracle 9i

2002-09-17 Thread Lisa Cabanas
Hello all, I was wondering when/if ITSM would be announcing officially (or if anyone knows unofficially) when Oracle 9i will be supported on TDPO 2.2? We are stating to have 9 dbs, and I am just a little leery that, even tho everything is working, that it is not "officially supported. I just ch

Hello *, Has anyone seen this before &/or knows what I should change (maxbuf or a vmtune -m) to make it go away? I have been looking in the SP, PSSP, and AIX performance books, and tried to find it on IBM's site, but no luck other than I *think* I know what I am looking at, i.e., This is telling

So, Paul, would you recommend 4.2.1.12 as stable? I am at 4.2.1.9 (on AIX) and am unable to test 5.1 at this point. 4.2.1.9 to 4.2.2.12 wouldn't seem to be that nasty of a jump. thanks lisa "Seay, Paul" cc: Sent by:

SP upgrade. So it'll be better to put this command in the file: /tftpboot/tuning.cust so it'll be executed automatically after every reboot. HTH Michel Bisschoff Unix Systems Admin Brisbane, Australia -Original Message- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED

FWIW, on AIX, even if you aren't backing up NFS mounts, if one of the mounts is hung, then your incremental is hosed and it terminates. I started noticing this behaviour in/around the 3.7 code level. lisa David Longo cc:

If I remember correctly, it means that there is some type of corruption on the client. You should ask them to run chkdsk /f on the drive in question, and then see if you still get the error. lisa Zoltan Forray/AC/VCUTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Steve-- from my experience, you are better off just sending the label failures back. We kept relabelling the Imations, and even though we got most of them (eventually) labelled, they have been failing since then (thankfully, no lost data). lisa Steve Harris

I think what Justin said about having to do extra steps is right (needing additional filesets, specifically)-- I am at ML9, but when I look at the levels of the filesets, they are still below what is indicated as being unaffected, and the instfix doesn't show that APAR. bummer. lisa
