1. The script below is doing an "incremental" backup... not a selective.
With "incremental" backups, the .NSF file will not be backed up unless
the DBIID has changed. The archivelog will capture the changes.

each database is contained in a single .NSF file...
...unless you are talking about groupings of Domino databases
making up a logical database of some sort (like Domino.Doc)

TDP for Lotus Domino 1.1.1.0 is also scheduled on this server to backup
automatically the Notes databases.
TSM and TDP are using two different nodes on a TSM server 3.1.2.50 running
on MVS.
TSM
throughout the week, so that you only are backing up
the CHANGES that have been made to those databases.
So, the amount of data to back up reduces significantly
when you use the power of transaction logging along

The only things I can tell you are:
- every time a Domino Database get's opened, it get's a new date and so the
normal TSM Backup Client thinks it
got changed and backs it up. We have a problem with this at the moment,
because we need nearly 18 hours to backup
