I think it is very good workaround for this case. Thank you very much.
But I wonder why TSM Scheduler is not working properly in very simple case
(spaces in directory name), which is typical for Windows environment?

Howdy,
Of the items being discussed I do not know if PMR's are open with IBM
service or not. I encourage folks to open PMR's for issues that are
encountered. We are working through reported problems and getting them
diagnosed and resolved.
There is a fix for IC62978 that will be coming

What about taking that long line and putting it in a .bat file from a

You can use "move data" on the pool volumes to empty them. A very common way
of empting the pools is to lower the migration thresholds.
If you delete a volume there is no need to delete the file also, you can just
re-add the volume and it will be empty, but you should avoid deleting volumes

Hi,
have you considered locking a number of nodes, so they just can't
backup, rather than deleting essential client data? IMNSHO there is
something very wrong in what you are doing. YOU SHOULD NEVER DELETE

My only observation at this point is, something changed, therefore,
something else changed.
If you have not changed the level or configuration of the server or
client software, then something outside of changed.
I hope your reboot helps.

Yes, it can read from local storage - you'll be writing/reading it directly
to/from tape, not sending it over the LAN to the TSM Server: that's the
functionality that the SAN Storage Agent software on your client allows.

Hi,
ClientA has B/A client and storage agent installed and can access a tape
library that is defined in TSM server. Can this client send local data (on
local hard disk) to the tape library using LAN-free method? In other worlds,
does the location of client data matter as long as client can access t
Grigori,
It may not be what you want but have you tried setting logging within
the Daily.bat file? I run multiple command schedules on numerous
clients; I made my life easier by having the batch file write to a log
file so I had a simplified object in the actual schedule.
My object would look lik
Shouldn't the whole command be in one set of double quotes, instead of
breaking into separately quoted line elements?
Beyond that, assure that the command actually exists as written, and
look in the logs for indications of the problem.

Hello Everybody,
I have small problem, but I couldn't resolve it myself.
There is batch file to backup one of the Windows servers. From command line on
the server I am able to run batch as:

Hi Craig,
it exists a possibility to have HSM over NAS. NetApp has a file policy (
Fpolicy) integration which allows from proxy windows to do a HSM of nas files.
