Anyone using the Dell ML6020 library? I believe it's a re-brand of the Scalar
i500. I have this library on one of my TSM servers but thinking of expanding
it and upgrading the drives to use it exclusively for my enterprise library.
It would be a lot cheaper than going with a new IBM TS3500.

The reclaim storage pool or my move data option will both work. One is
automated (the reclaim storage pool) while mine is manual.
If you have the disk space, use the RSP method.

Poor man's reclamation processing.

Hi,
We just started to use TSM a couple of months ago and it has been a lot
of fun ;-) to discovery the solutions for our problems.
We have another one now, about the volume reclamation. The scenario:
.A disk pool named DISKPOOL
.A Tape Library named ON_SITE_POOL with one drive
.Another Tape Li
Syntax with \...\ are for include/exclude only and not for file
specification for any TSM action like backup or archive.
So, the right syntax should be e:\archivefolder\* with the -subdir=yes
option (and -archmc=ar366 if needed, but no influence about what is
arhived).

I apologize for asking this because I know it's come up before...
however
Over the years there have been a number of different client admins using
different syntax. If I want to archive e:\ArchiveFolder and everything
in it which syntax do I use?
e:\archivefolder\*
e:\archivefolder\...\*

Client manual topic "Managing multiple schedule requirements on one
system" in Appendix A describes the handling of multiples.

My dsm.opt file has entries
Servername = A
Servername = B
These are define on dsm.sys. When I start the script, only "A"
schedule is loaded, b is not;
