Try running an Audit Volume (Fix=yes) on one of the volumes and see

Each Backup Storage pool thread will in general create 1 filling tape

Yes, and you can set the nextstg for the existing lib to point to the
storage pools created in the newer libs and trigger migration, but again
that is sort of awkward and short term.
- you'd like to use all the drives during normal backup processing and not
just the drives in the original library.
Hi Tim,
If you take a look at the APAR I cited, you'll see it refers to the same
issue as the tech note. The latter is just a "shot-in-the-dark" attempt to
work around the APAR symptoms. The former has no known solution; we cannot
reproduce this in the lab, and diagnostic code run by customers
Hello Vinicius,
I think you will have to migrate the volumes so that the data is kept the
same. You probably need to "move data" or "move nodedata"
That way you are moving the data from the existing library to the new
library and then you have the old library that can be still be used for

You could in the short term do something like:
- define new storage pools in the new libraries
- do move data's to empty volumes in the current library to the newer
libraries to allow you to bring volumes containing data back into the
existing library.
But the long term problem is that backups wil

Perhaps it's a timing issue. For DB2 you have to issue "db2adutl delete

Hi,
I like to ask again why the results of a nas backup are not logged in
the accounting log file (dsmaccnt.log). Is it possible to find out how
much data has been backed up during the last backup session?
The only information seems to be logged in the activity log when the
backup process ends:
