The short answer is no. You can only use the most recent
full/incremental series to restore to the most current state, i.e. using
the ROLLFORWARD log. The reason is that once you do a DBB (either full
or incremental) the log is reset. Therefore any older version, in your

In TSM it is changing the volume status of tapes to full, when they are only
50-70% percent utilized. This has caused a full library to run out of
scratch tapes.
Do you know if a parameter needs to be set to allow the library to use the
volumes too 100%?

Look in C:\winnt & you will find a file with a non standard name. On my
servers the name was a box. Never quite figured out what was creating the
file To me it looks like TSM is seeing that file as being named in a
language other then US/English.
Delete that file & they will be OK.

If your environment is using copy pools then issue 'restore vol ***'. If
not, use move data and the cleaning cartridge to get the data from that
volume to a new one.
