The cluster node in question had to 'own' the volume at the time that you installed the service on that node. You may move the volume later, but the service only recognizes volumes that were there when it was installed. This could be your problem. Glen Churchfield

Make sure the /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/dsm.opt file specifies the same servername as is in /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/dsm.sys, and that the nodename you registered and is listed in that dsm.sys file is different than the BA client specified in /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsm.sys. -

Ah jfs2 we have run into multiple problems with jfs2 on aix 5.2 But you may need to be aware that the memory pool tuning has been changed for jfs2. jfs2 caches in the Client area of memory that was usually reserved for nfs mounts. basically you need to stop putting maxperm at 75% to say 50% or 60%
