The cluster node in question had to 'own' the volume at the time that you
installed the service on that node. You may move the volume later, but the
service only recognizes volumes that were there when it was installed. This
could be your problem.

The TDPs require the TSM client API, as reflected in the TDP Informix
manual installation instructions.

Make sure the /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/dsm.opt file specifies the same
servername as is in /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/dsm.sys, and that the
nodename you registered and is listed in that dsm.sys file is different than
the BA client specified in /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsm.sys.

When you say "deleted and redefined drives" what that in Solaris or TSM?
I've had similar situations (on AIX) and was successful delete/redefining
drives 1st on the OS, then in TSM.

use only the BRARCHIVEMGTCLASS for log and the eight files .

Ah jfs2 we have run into multiple problems with jfs2 on aix 5.2
But you may need to be aware that the memory pool tuning has been changed
for jfs2.
