There are a number of reasons, data could be corrupt in some way, etc.
Query event is a good place to start, but try using the schedlog to zero in
on ANSS error messages. These will be useful in determining the problem
with the incomplete backup.

All,
Does anybody have documentation and/or scripts on offsite
tape rotation when not using DRM. What I am looking for
is detailed instructions for both operations as well as
for the systems administration staff. Any scripts would
be appreciated too.

There are several version of TDP for SAP R/3. 3.1 supports RMAN and
Oracle 8 (it may support Oracle 7 as well), 2.4 support Oracle 7 for
sure. And before that there was the BACKINT-ADSM which supported
SAP R/3 and Oracle 7.

The TSM client 3.7.2 backups to ADSM/VM server 3.1.2.50 and runs
