[Bug 252116] [NEW] kde4 menu duplicated application entries
Public bug reported: I'm using kubuntu 8.10 upgraded from gutsy some time ago. The default new kde4 menu has duplicated entries for some programs when using the search function. One entry has the correct icon and description. The other one has a default application icon and ends with .desktop. [Bug 252781] [NEW] evolution saves truncated attachments
Public bug reported: I'm currently using intrepid and got some strange evolution problem today: Evolution cannot correctly save attachments. Steps to reproduce: 1. Get somebody to send you a mail with attachment. 2. Open this mail in evolution. 3. Save the attachment 4. Compare the saved file to the original. Expected Result: Both files are the same. Actual Result: Saved file truncated. The type of file does not matter as I got this result with zip and text files. [Bug 76421] Re: system crash when creating more than one snapshot of a lvm volume
I found the reason for the bug. The script we used to test snapshotting used xfs and made a xfs_freeze just before snapshotting. This triggers a race condition inside the kernel which tries to freeze the filesystem to do the snapshot. IMHO the kernel should check if the filesystem is already frozen and maybe increase a "freeze counter" to avoid the race. ** Attachment added: "the script with xfs_freeze commented out" http://librarian.launchpad.net/5601927/lvm-test -- system crash when creating more than one snapshot of a lvm volume https://launchpad.net/bugs/76421 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 360554] Re: kopete silently crashes
This happens for me, too. I'm using xmpp as single account. When I close kopete so that it is in the notification area it crashes after some time. When I try to open the kopete window from the notification area this is not possible and nothing happens. [Bug 680720] Re: Sending Ctrl + Alt + Delete to VM does nothing
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 Server and Windows 2008 R2 inside the VM. The OS inside the VM does not matter. It is reproducible on both. Tested using these steps: 1. Start VM 2. Hit 'Send Key'->'Ctrl+Alt+Delete' - See that nothing happens. On Win2k no login screen, on Ubuntu no reboot. 3. Set the focus to the VM using the mouse. 4. Hit 'Ctrl+Alt+Delete' on the Keyboard. - See that it works. Since the report I updated the host to natty and the bug is still there.
