[Bug 395516] [NEW] Toner levels are available, but not reported to CUPS
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hplip I have a HP CP1515n printer, and the toner levels can be read using the hplip tools. I was expecting the toner info to be exported though the "normal" CUPS gui (system-config-printer -> properties -> Ink/toner levels) as well, but that property page only shows "Marker levels are not reported for this printer". Please make it so marker levels are reported through the standard CUPS gui. [Bug 346648] Re: [patch] Develop in UFRaw won't work in Dutch locale, because of escaping problems
I know the patch is a bit "dirty", as it just adds another special case while it should use a generic "escape everything" method from somewhere. However, I don't know the C# standard library well (or at all) and I couldn't find any other instances of string escaping in other C# programs in Ubuntu. -- [patch] Develop in UFRaw won't work in Dutch locale, because of escaping problems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox When I play a FLAC file with ReplayGain information in Rhythmbox with the ReplayGain feature enabled (gconf /apps/rhythmbox/use_replaygain = true), the sound volume goes down to zero in the first second. I can see the slider for rhythmbox go down in pavucontrol. If I slide the volume up again, I can hear sound for a short time every time I move the slider a pixel. [Bug 433008] Re: Playing FLAC with replaygain on, volume goes to zero in the first second
Turning the ReplayGain feature off (using gconf-editor) makes the volume slider behave normally again (immediately!). It stays at 0 until you move it though. -- Playing FLAC with replaygain on, volume goes to zero in the first second https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/433008 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 954952] [NEW] Scrolling through the playlist with the mouse wheel also skips ahead/back in the current track
Public bug reported: When I scroll through the "playlist", the currently playing song/video skips ahead as if I was pointing at the video (or its position bar) while turning the mouse wheel. It will even skip to the next/previous item if you scroll far enough. [Bug 955816] [NEW] Logging in with UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0 makes unity-panel-services crash continuously
Public bug reported: I created /etc/X11/Xsession.d/85local with one line of content: "export UBUNTU_MENUPROXY=0". This turned the global menus off correctly, but it also made all the indicators disappear (sometimes they'd show for a fraction of a second). Looking in my logs, I found unity-panel-service was crashing, being restarted, etc.: [ 59.259569] unity-panel-ser[4531]: segfault at 20 ip 7f210aff5b92 sp 7fff70648258 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.3120.0[7f210af7b000+f2000] [ 59.492952] unity-panel-ser[4556]: segfault at 20 ip 7f005427ab92 sp 7fff53c8b428 error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.3120.0[7f005420+f2000] However, I never got an apport dialog for this. Removing the UBUNTU_MENUPROXY line from /etc/X11/Xsession.d/85local makes everything work correctly again.
