Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluez-gnome
The bluetooth-properties dialog has a toggle for "hci0 kill switch", which feels like it's the wrong way around. When the toggle is active (there's a tick in the box), bluetooth is active, while the text next to it says "hci0 bluetooth killswitch". Removing the tick disables the bluetooth radio. I was expecting the tick to work the other way around: tick = killswitch active = no radio ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Aug 21 07:46:33 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: bluez-gnome 1.8-1ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=nl_NL.UTF-8 PATH=(custom, user) LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-6.25-generic SourcePackage: bluez-gnome Uname: Linux 2.6.31-6-generic x86_64 ** Affects: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Killswitch state seems reversed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/416796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
