Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel On a non-rectangular multi-monitor layout (e.g. when using monitors with different resolutions) the mouse pointer can be positioned outside the areas displayed by the monitors. For example, with a configuration like Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 3200 x 1200, maximum 3200 x 1200 VGA connected 1920x1200+1280+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 518mm x 324mm LVDS connected 1280x800+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 304mm x 190mm The mouse pointer and some graphics part like dropdown menus can go in the non-visible area below LVDS.
