That's fair, it does seem to work when using that method. However, for this to be an actual fix it needs to work out of the box. [Bug 2068393] Re: Two Sixel support fixes needed for stabilization on noble
** Description changed: + [Impact] + + With the addition of SIXEL support by default, tmux may crash due to + SIXEL images having no color or being unable to scale. This is most + often seen when opening neovim in a tmux session. + + This fix will allow problematic SIXEL images to render without crashing + tmux, and most importantly will fix using neovim in tmux. + + The bug is fixed through an upstream patch that adds checks for a lack + of colors or scalability in SIXEL images, while also freeing them + regardless of reflow state. + + [Test Plan] + + As stated by the reporter, the steps to reproduce are: + + Steps to reproduce: + 1. SSH to a Noble machine + 2. Install latest stable release of neovim (0.10.0) + 3. Run tmux with 'tmux -vv' to spawn a server with verbose logging + 4. Run neovim with 'sudo nvim -u NONE' + 5. Previously, images with no colors or ability + to scale would lead to a crash. Now, however, they cause their + respective functions to bail out early. Likewise no color images cause + sixel_print() to return NULL. If other functions calling these do not + handle the results properly, then this may cause new issues. Finally, + when resizing the screen, all images are freed and redrawn regardless of + reflow. [Bug 2063157] [NEW] [FFe] Sync prometheus-mysqlrouter-exporter as new package from Debian unstable
Public bug reported: Dear Release Team, Please accept prometheus-mysqlrouter-exporter as a new universe package, synced from Debian. [Rationale] prometheus-mysqlrouter-exporter provides users with the ability to include MySQL data and statistics to their prometheus environment via the mysql router. Likewise, the data platforms team includes this package in projects such as charmed MySQL, and having the package in noble would make the process more convenient. [Regression Potential] The package has no reverse-dependencies, will not be seeded, and will not affect users who do not install it. So the potential for regression would be limited to problems due to installing the package on an existing system. [Tests] The package includes 2 autopkgtests to verify runtime functionality. The first confirms that the mysqlrouter_exporter command exists. The second verifies that mysqlrouter_exporter can connect to and extract data from a standard MySQL router instance with a provided configuration. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2063157 Title: [FFe] Sync prometheus-mysqlrouter-exporter as new package from Debian unstable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2063157/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1971304] Re: Merge open-isns from Debian unstable for kinetic
I handled the open-isns merge for jammy and sent .101 to debian as a merge request. They responded but have been busy with other things for a while. I can handle this one by getting debian's additional fixes into ubuntu and hopefully help them get .101 uploaded so this can become a sync ** Changed in: open-isns (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Lena Voytek (lvoytek) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1971304 Title: Merge open-isns from Debian unstable for kinetic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/open-isns/+bug/1971304/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
