Jeremy, this problem is only present on jaunty kernel, with lucid everything works up to 1000Mbit. But i have a lot of computers running jaunty here and i can't make a migration to lucid now. So i'm going to use my custom-kernel but i don't like this idea due to security updates. Here is a quick and dirty solution, please copy getdist.awk file attached to this bug in /usr/share/apt-move, then restart apt-move localupdate ... every universe or multiverse packages will be integrated in "main" local branch.
