Re: [regext] I-D Action: draft-ietf-regext-org-05.txt

2018-05-07 Thread Gould, James
Linlin,

In doing my review and validating all of the sample XML of
draft-ietf-regext-org-05, I found the following:

  1. Remove the double period (“…transfer status information..”) in the last
sentence of section 4.1 “EPP Query Commands”.
  2. In section 4.1.2 “EPP Command”, it may be better to describe the
“Example Registrar Inc.” example as ‘…organization object with identifier
“registrar1362”’.
  3. In section 4.1.2 “EPP Command”, it may be better to describe the
“Example Reseller Inc.” example as ‘…managed by identifier “registrar1362”’.
  4. XML parser error - The element in the “Example response
for “Example Reseller Inc.” needs to be terminated with instead of
.
  5. Change title of section 4.1.3 from “EPP Command” to “EPP
 Query Command” and change “No EPP command is defined in
this document” to “No EPP query command is defined in this document”.
  6. XML parser error - The value of
clientDeleteProhibited is not valid in the “Example command”, since
“clientDeleteProhibited” is not a valid role status according to the
“roleStatusType” type.  I believe the
clientDeleteProhibited should be removed in
sh8014reseller,
 since the goal is to remove the reseller role and not the role’s status.
  7. Change “Registrant Contact” attributes in section 8.1 “XML Namespace” to
IESG
  8. Set the following values for section 7.2 “EPP Extension Registry” to
match RFC 7451:
 * Name of Extension: Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP) Organization
Mapping
 * Registrant Name and Email Address: IESG,
i...@ietf.org
 *   TLDs: Any
 *   IPR Disclosure: None
 *   Status: Active
 *   Notes: None

Re: [regext] I-D Action: draft-ietf-regext-org-ext-05.txt

2018-05-07 Thread Gould, James
Linlin,

In doing my review and validating all of the sample XML of
draft-ietf-regext-org-ext-05, I found the following. All of the sample XML in
draft-ietf-regext-org-ext-05 did validate successfully.

  1. Remove the link reference to RFC5731 in the abstract. Running idnits
results in the following error:

a. The abstract seems to contain references ([RFC5731]), which it
shouldn't. Please replace those with straight textual mentions of the
documents in question.

2.  In section 1 “Introduction”:

a. Change “There may have some other roles…” to “There may be other
roles…”.

b. Change “…nor the registrar of records…” to “…nor the registrar of
record…”.

c. Change “And a privacy proxy is an entity that provides with
individuals and organizations domain registration without exposing their
private information” to “A privacy proxy is an entity used for domain
registrations to protect the private information of the individuals and
organizations” or something similar.

3. Change title of section 4.1.3 from “EPP Command” to “EPP
 Query Command” and change “This extension does not add any elements
to the EPP command or response described…” to “This
extension does not add any elements to the EPP query command or
 query response described…”.

  1. Change “Registrant Contact” attribute in section 7.1 “XML Namespace” to
IESG
  2. Set the following values for section 7.2 “EPP Extension Registry” to
match RFC 7451:
 * Name of Extension: Organization Extension for the Extensible
Provisioning Protocol (EPP)
 * Registrant Name and Email Address: IESG,
