[RBW] FS: Lumotec IQ Cyo N Senso Plus Chrome
I bought this last week from Longleaf Bicycles, and it turns out I prefer my IQ Cyo R. Paid $120 + shipping, and will sell for $95/ shipped to the lower 48. PayPal only. Specs: 60 Lux Silver/Chrome Finish Standlight Senso/On/Off Switch It's basically in the same condition as when I received it, but I put heat-shrink tubing over the tail lamp connectors (to prevent shorting). Wires were inserted into my Shimano hub's connector, but have not been cut/shortened. [RBW] Re: FS: Lumotec IQ Cyo N Senso Plus Chrome
Based on my somewhat limited experience, I'd classify them this way: R -- Casts a long, even swath of light. Much less of a "dark zone" near the front wheel. N -- Casts a shorter swath of light that fans out a little more. If you think of the R's beam as being a tall/long rectangle, the N's would be shorter and wider. For my relatively slow commuting speeds (11-15mph), I prefer the R. I mount my head lamp on the fork crown, so that also may have an impact on my preference. [RBW] Lumotec IQ Cyo vs IQ Fly
I'm getting ready to purchase a Shimano dynohub-equipped front wheel, and have narrowed my head lamp choice to the Lumotec IQ Fly and IQ Cyo. [RBW] Re: Recommendations for front and rear lights to use with dyno hub
I recently did some reading/research, and the IQ Cyo seems to be the favorite (under $150). My commuter has low-profile cantilevers, so I'm waiting for Peter White to receive his shipment of compatible mounting brackets. For rear lights, I like the PDW Radbot (and Fenderbot) and Cat Eye Reflex. [RBW] Brifter-friendly triples?
Shimano's road triples are too tall for my needs, so I'm wondering if there are brifter-friendly cranks in the 26/36/46 range out there. I've got a Sugino XD triple that's 24/36/48, but the big ring isn't ramped (and I suspect the rings are spaced for an 8-speed chain). Current derailleurs are XT (rear) and Deore (front), so I'd probably need to swap out the Deore for something with the correct cable pull. Cassette is 9-speed, so that probably limits my brifter choice to NOS/ used stuff. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
