[RBW] Bomba-Love 2011 :)

2011-03-23 Thread Amit Singh
My new Bombadil is set to arrive on March 28 ... just in time for the
Michigan Spring Thaw :)

It's going to be a beauty, grey, maroon and cream with cream-lug
outlining, parts mostly USA sourced with White Industries / Paul.

I'm wicked excited, but one of the challenges I'm hoping to resolve
before it arrives is finding the optimal pressure / weight for the
cream-colored Schwalbe Fat Franks i'll be riding.

If anyone has a formula or algorithm source, I'd appreciate the
guidance for tire pressure calculation. In the past, I've used the
source below, which is based on Jan Heine's "Optimizing Tire Pressure
For Your Weight" article.

http://www.dorkypantsr.us/bike-tire-pressure-calculator.html

I find it useful, especially when quickly determining front / rear
tire pressures on the fly.

p.s. I've got a few single-track buddies who I am looking forward to
riding with. Recommendations for mountain-biking tires are also
greatly appreciated.

Gernot, I'll keep your guidance in mind, and probably try to see what
results it yields.

I'm totally looking forward to riding this bike, yee-haw! :)

[RBW] Re: Bomba-Love 2011 :)

2011-03-30 Thread Amit Singh
Gentlemen,

Once again - thanks for all the laughs :)

The bicycle is still missing parts ... a seat post, cassette, and
tubes - pretty integral to making it work. The Bottom Bracket still
needs a little adjustment so the left-side crank-arm can make it
around without hitting the chain stay. No sweat, will tweak it by
Friday, and the rest of the parts should reach here by then.

In the meanwhile, there's lots of time to take pictures! Below is a
link to the photos you've insisted on seeing.

[RBW] Re: Bomba-Love 2011 :)

2011-04-01 Thread Amit Singh
Okay. So the bike was outfitted with a 125mm Phil Bottom Bracket.
After some adjustment / centering, the crank arms JUST made it past
the seat stays, by less than a millimeter. Frame flex, especially in
turns would cause the arms to hit the stays. That's a no-bueno. So,
130mm bottom bracket ordered today.

I just installed the cassette onto the rear wheel, unboxed the tubes
and seated the new tires. Fat Franks are a little heavy but so
nice!

Ryan,

Crank set - White Industries Mountain VBC, 52/38 (black) Chainrings
180mm (silver) crank arms

Seat - Brooks B-67 Sprung Saddle in Black w/Silver springs

Baggage - I've got a full set of the Slackerville luggage - I'm not
sure how it'll look yet. We'll see when I get the bike back.

I also think the 68 will be perfect for what I want. I definitely am
excited to take it off-roading, but imagine that it'll be a serious
touring bike :)

[RBW] Re: Bomba-Love 2011 :)

2011-04-05 Thread Amit Singh
Steve, I am SO down! I hope to see you and other Riv-Michiganders
there! I'll send out a few emails to let the others know.

We'll see, if it's just a dirt-road ride, I may decide to bring Turry,
the turmeric-colored double-top-tube A. Homer Hilsen. I love that
bike. :)

Since we're talking about Michigan rides, which sources do you use to
find what's going on when in the state? There's a lot of websites I
need to check on the regular - do you know of one good source that has
all rides on a calendar?

Incredible Bomba. The silver shines all the way to Detroit, like

[RBW] Baby Brother Ride Photos

2012-05-03 Thread Amit Singh
Went out on a ride with my baby brother last night after installing
Nitto Noodle drop-bars on his Kogswell.

Had a great time, he said it's more fun riding with me than his friend
who is a girl because I'm a fast rider and he doesn't have to keep
stopping to turn around and wait. It made me laugh out loud. I told
him Dad's a great rider and fast-ish too, and that he should try going
out with him sometime.

The sunset was the highlight of the ride, magnificent to see.

A few photos from our ride:

Patrick, I run 60mm Berthoud Fenders with my Atlantis and there's

When the Fat Franks wear down enough (sometime in the next 4 years) or
I get bored (at a whim) I intend to mount 60mm tires and expect no
problems at all.

[RBW] MidWeek S24O

2012-07-20 Thread Amit Singh
Wednesday night, Doug, Russ and I went out for an S24O.

Both are currently on vacation yet understood that I had work
obligations, so they were kind enough to leave after work Wednesday
and return before work Thursday.

Along the way to camp we stopped by Cycletherapy Bike Shop for a water
bottle, some chain lube and a new set of bmx-style platform pedals.
We also met a few horses and explored some beautiful dirt roads.

Dinner was at Wendy's for a mid-route rest and something hearty to
keep us satiated through the evening and soak up the Belvenie scotch
we'd consume later that night.

It was a great time, we'll definitely do it again.

Combined there-and-back: 75ish miles.

[RBW] Re: Samuel P Taylor S240 Video - Back to Earth.

2012-07-23 Thread Amit Singh
Super enjoyable. Took me right back to our time exploring the Marin
Headlands and SF.

Make sure to tell Jesus a big thank you, and make request to keep making
and posting videos like these that push and cultivate the unracing side of
bicycling.

Maybe if he can show people what we're up with quick video clips like this,
they'll "get it" and understand how much pleasure can come out of a bicycle
adventure.

[RBW] Ride Report : Ajit's Ride Through Detroit

2012-07-24 Thread Amit Singh
My good friend Ajit was in town, visiting from Boston to attend his
sister's baby shower. He promised to spend Sunday with me. Generally,
when we get together, it involves adventure. This time, we explored
Detroit City by bicycle.

We saw lots of great wall art, had a few cups of rich and delicious Costa
Rican coffee, some excellent baked goods from Avalon bakery, enjoyed a few
beers at Mercury Bar (corktown), PJ's Lager House (corktown), The Old Miami
(midtown) and The Woodbridge Pub (woodbridge).

We also explored Michigan Central Station (midtown), Financial DIstrict
(downtown) Riverfront, Dequindere Cut and Eastern Market.

We ended off the day with a dinner of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans
and mac & cheese from Slows to Go.

This was one of the best days of summer.

Also, Ajit enjoyed his cycling experience and as a result, we are now on
the lookout for a decent frame which has a similar ride, geometry and
clearances to the 64cm Kogswell P/R Generation II.

"Seriously. So much fun. Detroit is pretty amazing." -- Ajit

Re: [RBW] Ride Report : Ride Through Detroit

2012-07-25 Thread Amit Singh
Thanks for the love, y'all. Detroit is really a fantastic place to ride.
Imagine, 4 lanes of amazing road built for Cadillac and Lincoln boats
throughout the city now deserted except for the roll of Kenda, Avenir and
Schwinn tires rolling through. So much to look at and experience, fertile
ground sprouting and sometimes exploding through the empty party shell
that's been left behind.

A little somethin' more from the photoset which I didn't have time to
process during the ride:

A STAR IS BORN THROUGH IMMENSE PRESSURE
AND WE HAVE HAD OUR FAIR SHARE.
THAT BEACON OF LIGHT YOU SEE IN THE DARK
IS OUR FAIR CITY RISING FROM THE NIGHT SKY.

If you haven't experienced it before I welcome you. Detroit is perhaps the
best city to ride a bicycle.

[RBW] Positive review of sneakers and tires

2012-07-31 Thread Amit Singh
Just wanted to let the group know that I'm enjoying two products:

- Evolv Cruiser Shoe - Super grippy on touring and king grip pedals, even
when wet. Fantastically comfortable to walk around in all day, multiple
days. Light weight and breathable. True to size. I got them on sale via
Zappos under $50.00.

- 37mm Pasela Tires w/out Tourguard on my A. Homer Hilsen. It's so nice to
be able to fit a tire this fat with lower pressures under fenders and still
ride this bicycle. The bicycle still feels swift and quick but even more
comfortable. Really enjoying these. Roughly 200 miles and no flats.
Looking forward to riding them through a few upcoming longer rides.

[RBW] Re: Positive review of sneakers and tires

2012-08-01 Thread Amit Singh
I was running Jack Brown Blues for a LONG time. Wore through 2 tires (so
proud!) and had on the second set on before jumping over to the non-tour
guard 37mm Pasela.

Here's a photo of the new fatty tires during yesterday's
ride: http://www.flickr.com/photos/amisingh/7687477028/lightbox/

During brevets I ride Grand Bois Cypres.

There really is a difference.

I'll be curious if anyone else gets a pair of the Evolv kicks and what they
think. I like them a lot more than my Sambas The shoes are made for
exploring, so in addition to being grippy and comfortable, they've got good
toe protection also. I like them a lot. I own a pair in the black and the
copper.

Here's a blurry photo of the kicks at the end of yesterday's
ride: http://www.flickr.com/photos/amisingh/768802/lightbox/

[RBW] Re: Virtual Entmoot Ride Reports

2014-07-15 Thread Amit Singh
Hello!

Pictures from part of my experience at the Entmoot here:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/amisingh/sets/72157645286922999/

With all the beautiful scenery, bicycles and people in attendance it felt
like a sacred magical lugged steel ground. There was a lot of love in one
place that night.

Some of my favorite memories not captured in pictures were Grant and I
talking yogurt and him also looking for a buckeye tree in the deep wood to
make a slingshot, Manny walking around camp in and riding a bike in his red
onesie and also the glee on people's faces when they realized they were
secretly pocket-pooh'd in the night, listening to Rich's explaining to me
what wife is like (she sounds wonderful to have stopped Rich in his tracks
and I hope to meet her!), getting bear-hugged from Esteban and listening to
what he learned from his retreat on the east-coast, seeing the giant man
ABCycleHank and his telling me that he was upset for not making the trip to
Detroit before I moved to the west coast (October, let's do a 200k brevet
back in the D!), meeting Jim Edgar with his big smile and open arms,
listening to how Philip's son has changed from making super-animated and
expressive stick-figures to a more accomplished 13-year old artist and
video game pro, seeing Beth ride past the boys on her Betty flying up and
down the hills, talking with Andy about why more people like us don't exist
and how lucky we are to be riding bikes together, talking with Aaron about
raising his 4 children and working at the same time and the sacrifices that
need to be made to do it the right way, getting bear hugged again from the
entire So-Cal crew (Hugh, especially), being reunited with my dear friend
Dustin and hearing about is success and positive trajectory, meeting Jenny
and explaining to her what the word "lacchak" means in Punjabi and why her
bicycle has it, meeting Toshi and listening to what his experiences of
riding 600k brevets are like, seeing the delightful couple Scott and
Elizabeth and talking with them about riding bicycles at Folsom lake and
vegetarian recipes, Manny saving our butts from getting shot by the park
ranger for riding trails by the supermoon light and finally seeing a huge
number of Rivendell lovers from across the country in one place. It was a
magical weekend indeed.

[RBW] Snow Ride with Dad

2012-01-15 Thread Amit Singh
I asked baby bro if he wanted to ride to the grocery store with me and
got a "negative ghostwriter". Totally unexpected, Dad said he'd go,
not grocery shopping, but for a ride.

So we're rolling and there's some snow, no problem, we forego the
normal sidewalk to the trail routine in favor of roads ... In my head
I'm worried once we get to the trails we won't e able to make it far
with unstudded tires. We arrive and roll gingerly first, then more to
normal. I thought we were going for a short 10 mile ride. Nope. Dad
loves it so much it turns out we're doing 35 -- at HIS insistence. I
wish I woulda known, woulda worn more than commando jeans :)

we stop at a McD's on the way back to warm the toes and a man asks us
if it's too cold to ride, "nope", with a cheeky smile he gets from me.
He chats me up about his trek with a spring loaded fork and super fat
cushioned sprung seat and his "triangle stand" (indoor bicycle
trainer) and compliments us on our "Schwinns" :) he also tells us
about how he broke his ankle on a ladder two years ago, got a buy-out
retirement package from GM, how his wife left him and his kids took
off and don't see him anymore. I feel badly. He asks dad if he's
divorced. My dad says laughing, "not yet"! I love my dad :)

We roll out and 4 miles later stops and asks me to check his rear
brake because he thinks it's rubbing. I check and show him it's fine.
look at the front of his bike and find I can't even turn the front
wheel.

There is SNOW PACKED BETWEEN THE TIRE AND FENDER. Dad holds his bike
up, I pop off the front wheel, find a stick and clean out the snow-
jam.

Pop the wheel back on and he's as happy as a little boy, pedaling
furiously and explaining as he shakes shakes his head that he thought
he was finally getting old, losing his power, his strength. We both
are laughing hysterically at what had happened and dad's dramatic
reaction and feel grateful and thankful for our health and
friendship.

By this time we make it to Orchard Lake, where Chief Pontiac (after
whom the automobile was named) is buried on Apple Island, and take a
few moments to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Dad decides to forego the
trail for streets and we're pedaling into a frigid headwind powered by
Orchard Lake and our fingers are in so much pain because of it so
after 6 miles we walk into a Starbucks for a nice cuppacoffee to warm
up and caffeinate our engines.

The rest of the ride home is on salted roads (maybe I should cringe
here but I'm really okay with it). I get flicked off by 3 dudes in a
brand new Benz and throw up a double duce, screaming "peace!" ... and
then laugh as I approach them at a red light and they don't know how
to react to my non-hostility.

Ended the ride off right with a beautiful sunset.

[RBW] Re: Sayonara Jay Day

2012-01-15 Thread Amit Singh
Jay is one of the best people I've met and worked with. He's
incredibly patient, laughs easy, eats and drinks great stuff and
doesn't cover up truth to make others happy. He also bends over
backwards to make others happy. He's become a great friend, someone I
can talk El Rego Et Ses Commandos with.

I remember talking with Jay when I first called saying something like
I can't believe people spend the kinda loot they do on bikes and bike
related stuff. It blew my mind, I thought I was above it, talking to a
man that was in it. Looking back, what a stupid and jerk thing to say,
Jay was gracious through it all.

Jay rode with me to make sure I made it home safe after a night at the
bar while I was visiting California last month. Normally I walked, but
he rode up the toughest hill in Berkely, maybe the toughest hill I
rode the whole time I was there, and insisted on riding up, not
walking up, and taught me how to snake side to side to make sure I
didn't put a foot on the ground. We were both sweating bullets of
liquor by the time we reached the top. He was laughing the whole time,
I was hyperventilating. And then he rode off into the night like a
cowboy. He makes art when he rides. It's a beautiful thing to see.

I like him a lot. Riv's losing one of the best, ever.

Good luck homie, wherever you go, whatever you do I hope you 'git it!'
with passion, love and happiness.

I'm annoyed that this sounds like such a dramatic goodbye message.
I'll text you as I'm throwing back a drink to celebrate your upcoming
journey.

[RBW] What kind of mustache wax to use?

2012-01-23 Thread Amit Singh
I've been letting my natural 'wool buff' grow out to protect my face
from the cold while riding so now I look something like this:

o(|8-{D>

Rather than trimming my mustache I'd like to curl it up. What kind of
mustache wax have you used? What do you like? Anything to stay clear
of?

And ... a few photos from my most recent adventure ride on Saturday in
Detroit. Lots of fun Bombadil photos and a few of above referenced
facial hair.

[RBW] Re: Every Day Carry + What kind of mustache wax to use?

2012-01-24 Thread Amit Singh
Thanks for the responses. Especially the more creative ones. I'll
try them, but you do it first, okay?

On the topic of mustache wax, lots of people carry a tin on their
person for periodic 'touchups' throughout their day.

This subject of 'every day carry' is one of which I've been slightly
obsessed.

http://everyday-carry.com/ is a cool website. There are a few others
which are similar.

I'd be interested in seeing your EDC's. I need to capture an image of
mine, but until then here's a list:

- Bandana (serves as handkerchief)
- Opinel No. 6 knife
- Lip Ivo
- iPhone 4 carried in Col. Littleton No. 50 Phone Wallet
- Keys carried on ML Brown Braided Keychain
- Shure E4 Earbuds
- Lamy Fountain Pen
- Moleskin Notebook
- Swatch GB743
- Canon S100 Camera
- Surefire G2x Tactical Flashlight
- Hndlebars Moustache Wax - 1 oz. tin

I like how all this stuff is compact so it fits well inside of a small
bicycle bag. When I'm not on the bike it's generally carried in a
pocket on my briefcase, and when that doesn't happen I can carry it
all on my person in various pockets.

- Bicycle Repair Kit featuring:
- Crank Bros. Multi-Tool 17
- Einstein's Patch Kit
- Spare Tube
- Chain Breaker Tool

[RBW] Every Day Carry - Here's Mine, What's Yours?

2012-01-25 Thread Amit Singh
I'm reposting this with hopes of greater response because it's a cool
and interesting topic.

This subject of 'every day carry' is one of which I've been slightly
obsessed.

Here is a link to an image of my EDC, and a list:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/amisingh/6760998841/

- Bandana (serves as handkerchief)
- Opinel No. 6 knife
- Lip Ivo
- iPhone 4 carried in Col. Littleton No. 50 Phone Wallet
- Keys carried on ML Brown Braided Keychain
- Shure E4 Earbuds
- Lamy Fountain Pen
- Moleskin Notebook (set up as GSD)
- Swatch GB743
- Canon S100 Camera
- Surefire G2x Tactical Flashlight

I like how all this stuff is compact so it fits well inside of a small
trunk sack. When I'm not on the bike it's generally carried in a
pocket on my briefcase, and when that doesn't happen I can carry it
all on my person in various pockets, although I'm tempted to start
carrying a man-bag or a "m-urse".

This is a 'heavy load', but it's everything which I need to flip
between work and adventure. Works for me.

I'd be interested in seeing your EDC's.

http://everyday-carry.com/ is a neat website that shows lots of
carries. There are a few others which are similar.

[RBW] Re: Bar Tape

I enjoy the cheaper velo-orange leather handlebar tape which is no
longer available. The newer, more expensive stuff is here:
http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/grand-cru-perf-leather-tape-w-plugs.html

I've ridden this tape in all kinds of weather, done 3 or 4 re-wraps
and it's still feels and looks fantastic. Under the leathers is
strategically placed cork tape, ripped into bite-sized pieces and
electrical taped in place (thank you Jay Ritchey).

Here's an image of A. Homer following the most recent re-wrap:

Wow, it's like ... shocking blue. Somebody went a little crazy with
the HDR Pro iPhone settings (thanks for turning me onto it, Rene!).

[RBW] (OT) What Kind of Snowshoes Should I Get?

A few folks are talking about a snow-camping adventure. They say snowshoes
are required, and that fat bikes won't float enough on the powder. So ...
what kind of snowshoe should I get? Is there a riv-ish snowshoe? MUSA? I
imagine weight and height is a consideration - I'm 6'6", 230lbs and wear

2014-12-24 Thread Amit Singh
Thanks everyone for the great feedback!

Someone awesome on our RBW list contacted me and offered a pair of MSR
snowshoes which I hope to put to good use.

These will be for a backpacking trip I'm taking in January. A friends are
putting together a 3 day backpacking trip where we'll be crossing 3 lakes,
passing through a small mountain range and building 2 igloos. They hope to
climb to the top of the mountain and then snowboard down.

I'll take a camera and hope to capture some good story-images and write an
adventure report. ... I'll think of something Riv oriented so I can post it
to this list. Any ideas?

[RBW] Anyone doing the EBDJ Wednesday Challenge?

2015-01-21 Thread Amit Singh
I did it yesterday between 1:30 - 6pm. Ate normal during eating hours, no
binging in that time span. Felt normal. Had a big mediterranean salad at
dinner and was so happy.

Today is day 2 and the hunger has me feeling a little ravenous and wobbly.
I can't wait until 1:30 today and am beginning to fantasize about what I
will eat when the clock strikes that magical hour. I have confidence in
knowing this feeling should pass soon so I can get back to work :)

Anyone else doing the Wednesday challenge? How is it going for you?

[RBW] Re: Anyone doing the EBDJ Wednesday Challenge?

2015-01-22 Thread Amit Singh
I've been getting more into it, still at less than 50 grams of carbs a day but
curbing down by introducing more fat. I crave vegetables so I eat a big ass
Mediterranean salad 4 or 5 times a week. It's delicious.

It's been 2 months and I'm down nearly 20 lbs. Ive been doing a fast 25 minute
circuit at the gym every other morning, cycling, taking the dog for a walk or
playing basketball to work on endurance.

Here are my details from yesterday:

3:45 pm

1 can TJ sardines
.75 avocado w/pink Himalayan salt
1 small chunk triple creme Brie
1 small chunk Gouda
3 slices salami
1/2 pickled cucumber (home made, no sugar)

This was way too much food and I felt uncomfortable.

Then I did a fast 45 mile ride and halfway:

6:30 pm

2 small nuggets of home made pemmican.

Don't feel hungry at all.

5:00 am

1 small cup of coffee with heavy cream.

Just got back from the gym. Feeling good.

[RBW] Growing Closer With Family + Understanding Exposure

2012-08-06 Thread Amit Singh
My little brother has been generally immobile for the past month and a half
due to dislocating his ankle from his foot ...

SO, to get him moving on his crutches yesterday, I took him to the park
with a few cameras and a Peterson book -- Understanding Exposure.

We spent 4 hours (wow, getting either of us to sit for 4 hours to focus on
anything is a BIG DEAL!) going through the book and learning. This was his
first time playing with a SLR camera so there was the happiness reward for
learning the ISO / Aperture / Shutter Speed triangle. He learned to shoot
in manual and create his own images, so cool. He's excited about it and
wants to continue. I'm happy because this helps our bond grow and we've
found new stuff we can be passionate about together, cool ! :)

I took the Bombadil, got some cool Erik Jensen (bikenoir.blogspot.com)
inspired photo captures. Couldn't feel more perfect on the Bomba. Did
some grown-over single track riding in the thick woods. Light, quick,
super agile, carved when i wanted it to, well behaved, cut through the
thick underbrush and over gravel. Was it the bike, maybe the tires,
perhaps the bars, maybe it was me (ha, unlikely)? It was all together
perfect.

Pics to prove it happened:
 http://www.flickr.com/photos/amisingh/sets/72157630923220134/

Also -- I'm an American Sikh.

So ... now that I've gotten a motion of bent fork and a second, what does
this mean? What are the negative (or positive?) consequences of this?
Should I care or just keep riding?

I hope the same thing will happen this time. ... and if not, it's worth asking
again.

Jan, could you please make a Compass 700x42mm tire for us to purchase? :)

[RBW] FS: Sackville, Nitto, Tubus, Schwalbe, Dura Ace, Paul, Velo Orange, Etc.

2015-12-03 Thread Amit Singh

Hi All,

I’m selling some stuff to help fund a cool idea my wife and I are doing -
paying off layaway items at local stores to help bring holiday cheer to
families -- anonymously. We talk with store managers and look at the
store's open layaway log for items that we can quickly identify as most
likely presents for children (kid’s clothes, books, a bicycle, toys,
diapers, baby food, etc.), select an open layaway between $50 - $500 that
look like gifts or necessary items and complete the purchase. Then we watch
the manager call those families to tell them their items have been paid for
and they can pick the items up anytime they’d like. It helps remind us what
the spirit of the season is - selflessly giving to make other people's
lives better. It gives people hope, and in crazy times like this it’s a
great way to demonstrate there are still people who care to do good in this
world.

Now, to the parts that might be of interest to list members. All prices
include standard shipping within the continental U.S. Paypal preferred.

[RBW] Re: [BOB] Re: Tried and liked in 2015, and a request

2015-12-23 Thread Amit Singh
Patrick, I'm sorry if this offends. I'm going to hijack this post and take it
to the veg side. This is a salad that's robust enough to leave you feeling
deeply fulfilled.

Words that come to mind are crunchy, creamy, fresh, tart, nutty, herbaceous,
earthy, umami ... it's got everything covered!

Fattoush (sans bread plus feta, shout out to EBDJ)

Use fresh vegetables and herbs. Chop all to bite-size:

Red Bell Pepper
Green Bell Pepper
English Cucumber
Ripe Tomatoes
Red Onion
Avocado
Parsley, chopped fine
Mint, chopped fine

For the dressing. Put this in a jar and shake it like a polaroid picture:
Garlic, chopped fine
Sumac
Zaatar (amazing lebanese spice, pick up fresh from your local middle-eastern
market)
Red Chilli (for a little spicezing)
Sea Salt
Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
Red Wine Vinegar
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Tahini
Add toasted sesame seeds if there's not enough in the zaatar.

Mix well. Eat immediately or let sit for 30 min - 1 hour for even better
results. Mix again before serving.

Feta Cheese, cut into cubes. Use this as a topping.

This is one of the best meals. We eat this at least twice a week for dinner,
and make enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

We had this for dinner last night and I just ate a plate now. It never
disappoints.

p.s. If you can't source high-quality Sumac or Zaatar email me and I'll find a
way to hook you up.

Deacon,

Come back to Flickr. The community needs you and the pictures of your bicycles.
Maybe just delete the pictures of your feet? :)

[RBW] WTT :: 68cm Quickbeam for Huge Rosco Mixte

2018-05-23 Thread Amit Singh
Friends,

After spending some time with Manny this weekend and being encouraged by
his enthusiasm, I am looking to trade my 68cm Quickbeam for a Huge Rosco
Mixte.

We are currently 7 months pregnant - and with a kiddo on the way - I would
like to have an easier time including the little one on some bicycle
adventures.

A few photos of the Quickbeam follow at this link:

Many thanks!

Amit

Here's the Quickbeam in its current iteration:

It's a lovely bicycle. I really, really enjoy riding it, and I hope the
next rider will too.
