Thanks, appreciate that. I have easy_CDA_creator also which does that, makes them from cd, converts from them or to them, just wondered if cdex could also. Thank you Debbie, you are indeed a wonder! Re: New software for files conversions coming soon
The software is from Applian Technologies who also make Replay AV, Replay Radio, Replay Music, FreeCorder. All are accessible with JAWS. I played a major part in making Replay AV accessible. The application is called Replay Converter. It has been tested by me and Jeff Bishop. It works well with JAWS and Window Eyes. Again there could be a minor bug or 2. I make no money here. Just a user of Replay products. Go to: http://www.applian.com Read the user guide at the site. With JAWS 7 I find after starting up Replay Converter it is best to set the graphics to labeled. Do this: 1. Run Replay Converter 2. Insert+V 3. Press letter "G" for graphics. 5. press your space bar until you hear "labeled". 6. Press tab key to go to the close button. 7. Press space bar on close button. When you are finished with Replay Converter change your graphics settings back to "all" or whatever you prefer. Do a insert+v and hchange it. Re: Beginning to give up when my questions not beeing answerd but here'sanother.
you will hear the output of whatever sound source you select within your recording device. Each software is a little differant, but basically that is the case. If you are tring to use two differant sound cards to avoid feedback, because you are recording through a mic, that won't work. (i mention this because I don't know why you'd need two differant sound cards). If you want to hear the output of a project recorded through a mic, use headphones instead of speakers for monitoring.l Robin - Original Message - From: "Anders Holmberg" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Replay Converter!
Works with JAWS 7 and Window Eyes. I am a JAWS user here. I am not sure if my first message made it to the list. Sorry for the duplication. Installing the software is very easy. 3 steps and all buttons are read to you. You can uninstall the program if necessary by going to the Control Panel's Add/Remove area or via Programs menu. Standard ways to uninstall. I do not make any money on the software. Tip for JAWS 7 users: My opinion only. Run Replay Converter. Do a Insert+V, press letter G for Graphics, use space bar until you hear "labeled", tab once to close button and space bar on the close button. When you finish using Replay Converter make sure you set your graphics to your preferred settings. I have it at "all". The Easy Way to Convert Audio & Video Files! Replay Converter is the easiest way to convert video and audio files. You simply pick the files to convert, choose an output format, and click a button to start the process. Everything happens automatically. Supports All the Popular Formats Replay Converter can convert all the popular formats, including: List of 11 items Windows Media Real MPEG-4 Video Flash Video (SWF and FLV) QuickTime AVI (DivX and xVid) MP3 OGG WAV iPod Video PSP Video (Play Station Portable) list end Target Format List Makes Conversions Easy You don't need to be a geek to use Replay Converter - just pick a target format from the list, and the conversions happen for you. Winamp & Volume control
I just downloaded Winamp 523. There doesn't seem to be a way to change the volume in Winamp. The Global (?) short cut keys said to use "Alt+control+up or down" to control the volume from any application. This doesn't seem to work. Does it work for others? What settings would be helpful? Re: Winamp & Volume control
Hi Marsha, do you have the appropriate box checked in the output section of the Winamp preferences? To check if you do, what you'll need to do is open the preferences, control plus p. In the tree view, select output, and in the list of plugins, you'll need to select Nullsoft waveout. Next, tab to the configure button. In that dialogue, there *should* be a checkbox that says, volume control enable. If this box is not checked, you'll need to check it. Next there's a checkbox that says volume control alt. setting method slow. If both these boxes are checked, then you should be able to at least control the volume of Winamp independent of your software speech. I don't know if this extends to the hotkeys for any application in windows, but this is a starting point at least. Hope that gets you somewhere. Not sure if it'll fix the problem with the hotkeys like I said but it's a start. At 03:21 PM 6/10/2006, you wrote: > I just downloaded Winamp 523.
