Logging in PAUSE
Gentlemen, I have successfully reset my password, but still getting an error. Could you suggest what do I do now? Error User 'ACCA' set to nologin. Many users with an insecure password have got their password reset recently because of an incident on perlmonks.org. Please talk to modules@perl.org to find out how to proceed Please try again, probably by using the Back button of your browser and repeating the last action you took. -- Sincerely yours, Alexander Kuznetsov

Hi Neil, thanks for getting in contact with Toby! I hope he is well. Can you please ask him how he wants me to handle the git repo? PAUSE bug
I (KARJALA cpan author) was never granted co-maint to Algorithm::Diff by any human ever. However this page says I have co-maint: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?pause99_peek_perms_by=me&pause99_peek_perms_query=Algorithm::Diff&pause99_peek_perms_sub=1 Apart from the mistake (which that page said someone on this list can fix) there is an underlying bug that caused the mistake. This module has no first-come according to that table. Should it be so? Should modules exist without first-come? Is someone going to fix it, so all modules have first-come? I only uploaded my XML::MyXML CPAN module containing a "package Algorithm::Diff" line to test something.
Re: PAUSE bug
In any case please remove my name from co-maint of that module. Thanks. [Perl] DBIx::Error maintenance
Hi Michael, it seems you're not active in the Perl ecosystem any more. I'd like to take over maintenance of DBIx::Error. If that's ok for you please transfer FIRSTCOME on PAUSE to me (PAUSE ID abraxxa) and also the source control repository. You can do this by logging into https://pause.cpan.org, [1]selecting the module in the 'Change Permissions' menu and clicking '2.1 Transfer primary maintainership status to somebody else (you become co-maintainer)'. As it's not listed in META.yml please tell me if you're using Git or Subversion and how we can transfer it to me. Thanks & best regards, Alex Links: -- [1] https://pause.cpan.org

There is something strange with CGI::Test namespace: I am its new co-maintainer and I have uploaded a new version but it shows up as unauthorized; there is an ancient release as well, made by first author and it still shows up on search.cpan.org as legitimate. Hi, I've tried to contact the author as you can see below. If you can't reach him too I'd like to take over maintainership of the module. Best regards, Alex -- Forwarded message -- From: Alexander Hartmaier Date: Thu, Oct 27, 2011 at 1:24 PM Subject: [Perl] Test::Portability::Files To: sebast...@aperghis.net Hi Sebastien, I'm using your module Test::Portability::Files indirectly by Dist::Zilla::Plugin::Test::Portability. There are several open bug reports for it, the one that bugs me most is RT#21631. Neither META.yml nor the pod contains information about the repository so I wasn't able to commit the already proposed patch included in the RT. If you're no longer interested in maintaining the module I would take over (co-)maintainer-ship. With best regards, Alex (CPAN ID abraxxa)
