There is "NepalDataScrapper" having a maintainer, but in fact no dictionary.
Someone seems to have tried uploading an extension last year, but beyond a test
with just the name and no content (that was archived therefore) nothing was
submitted. Why don't you upload the extension yourself?

The advantage over other platforms like reposcope.com is that you get the "tight
integration" in LibreOffice meaning per click on Tools > Options > Language >

[libreoffice-l10n] Translations of Spreadsheetsfunction

2022-08-18 Thread Tim Herb

Hello,

I am involved in the Wikimedia Projects  and have also an account in the
Projects of TheDocument Foundation with the username Hogue and I am
interested in Spreadsheets. In the Wikimedia Projects there extists a
new Wikimediaproject under Development called Wikifunctions. This
project will collect Functions and their implementations in different
programming languages and will be used for converting text from an
abstract notation into different languages. This can be maybe also
interesting for documentation pages  in the future. I started writing a
program to convert Spreadsheetsfunction from one language to another and
for this it is helpful to have files with the translated strings. Where
can I find the translated strings of the spreadsheet functions. At the
installation of LibreOffice at my Laptop I have found an file called
for.mo that contains the English function name and the German
translation. I am using LibreOffice Version 7.2. At this page
https://dev-www.libreoffice.org/l10n/latest-pot/ I found the English
strings in the downloaded file. Please tell me if there where I can find
the translated strings for the other languages.

.pot file is the source template for translation. All translated .po

strings are in sc.po and scaddins.po files

The spreadsheet function names are actually in formula/messages.po and
scaddins/messages.po under the respective language directories.

If you cloned the git repo then this command will output all available
translations:

git grep -E -A1 'msgid "[A-Z][A-Z0-9._]*"' source/*/{formula,scaddins}

Note that this
a) may contain some hits that are not function names but a parameter
name or such (if it was all uppercase)
b) includes function names that are translated badly and even
   syntactically wrong, see also

[libreoffice-l10n] Wrong translations of formula function names and identifiers

2022-08-18 Thread Eike Rathke
Hi,

It's that time again.. the current (and thus most likely also in LO 7.4
but hopefully (?!?) prevented by tooling to appear in the product)
mistranslations of function names are available at / attached to
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128200#c15 with
affected localizations and also note the next comment about the scaddins
"N" false positives, which in fact make `ckb` disappear from the
affected list again :-)

The old identifer list of
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128200#c13
is still the same 3 bad `sd` translations.

Please check and fix, thanks.

Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Translations of Spreadsheetsfunction

2022-08-18 Thread Tim Herb

Hello,

thank you for the answer. I have written a program that creates out of
the content of the file with the function names pasted into a text file
a CSV-File. Cloning the repository was not sucessful for me. I tried it
and after waiting a half hour or something like that I stopped it. The
source code is available at
https://public.paws.wmcloud.org/User:Hog%C3%BC-456/Spreadsheetfunctionnames/
and there it is the file ending with .R so it is in the programming
language R. The list with the function names in a language is the base
to automatically translate functions. If that program for translation
works well I can tell you where you can find it, if you think that it
can be useful.
