Thanks for your kind words Christine. I just know the owner of this list
and everyone on it would just LOVE to shell out a few dollars for your "low
cost" program.

Now go away, you're bothering us.

Have you used this monitoring from a supervisor. I was thinking that
was only to monitor the number of callers in queue for that group.

Please explained the use of this feature.

But if you are getting from the handset, you are still getting analog,
and everyone's phone has an extra appendage hanging from it.

With the -5 you can set silent monitoring for ucd groups- then the
supervisor can use a handset adapter.

KX-T: ARS 101 update

2002-07-13 Thread David Lesher

|You can build one ARS Plan for both tenants as long as there are no dialing
|differnces between the two. move the sencond tenants lines to trunk group b
|nad to prevent the tenants sharing the lines go to Station:CO line Outgoing
|and make sure each tenant only has out going on their own lines.

Futzed around today...

ARS routing plan menu 5,2 aka (help calls this [322]) sez:

{|'s are used to help you line up things while reading...

also the TRG's are numbered but I stuck to my original use of letters
for here... }

ARS plan 1 | 2 | 3
Priority 123 |123| .

Time-A
TRG bad | ce
mod 111 | 11

So I should have all trunks modified with a *67 leading. Right?

The trouble is, no matter what TRG's I put into ARS plan 2; they do
not get outside access. (NO CO ASSIGNED message upon dialing...)

All the ARS Plan 1 entries are fine.

Routing Plan 1 aka menu 5,3 [314,etc] has a * for 001; ergo any digits.
Routing Plan 2 aka F6 is exactly the same display as Plan 1.

Mod 1 is "*67" to force the block..

Where else do I have to turn on Plan2?

(Yes, if See&Pee offered per-line blocking I'd not be in this mess,
but it took a direct FCC order to get them to offer even per-call...

KX-T: MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT PROBLEM

2002-07-13 Thread David Jeter

Had a problem with port #7 not able to configure for phone. We have a TVS110
attached to port #8. Dumped memory. Port #7 was working fine, but when I
reloaded the programming, it went dead again . finally found that the MW
light feature was programmed for port #7, so I changed it to #8. Then, the
phone on #7 was fine, but no voicemail. I finally moved it temprarily to
port #9. What's going on? What are all of the proper settings for the
message waiting feature?

Thanks,

OOPS,

My mistake. When I first heard about "call monitoring" for ucd groups I
imagined it was for supervisory monitoring, then I believed my own
imagination.

It is only for a 7456, 7436, 7235 to be able to monitor call status, # calls
waiting, Total answered, total overflow, etc.

Still useful info, but not what i had secretly hoped for. So we're back to
trying find other ways to monitor the operators.
