When I set the IP address of xenbr0 manually to the eth0 address, networking works again. But I am not sure whether that's how it is supposed to be. However, depending on only libgd2-xpm leads to indirect dependencies (via libgd2-xpm) on a lot of X11-stuff, which, in turn, leads to the installation of a lot of useless stuff on X11-less machines (i.e. servers). Did you by chance change the Build-Dependency away from libgd2-noxpm-dev? Build-Depending on libgd2-noxpm-dev should automagically lead to a package dependency to `libgd2-noxpm | libgd2-xpm', so if it doesn't do anymore, please redirect this bug to libgd2-noxpm-dev. Bug#389679: Bug resolved partially.
Sorry, serverity should be lowered to normal or wishlist.
The problem appeared because apache2 mod_perl2 handler was written as
sub handler : method {
my $r = shift;
}
so subsequent Apache2::Request->new( $r ) call got incorrect argument
(notice ": method" attribute).
I still consider this is a bug (with low priority though) as mod_perl
should not segfault.

No, I requested that it stay connected, as per the documentation in the
xend-config.sxp:

What I meant was, I am not sure whether xenbr0 is supposed to have an
IP address set.
Also, after adding the address manually, both xenbr0 and eth0 (the
virtual one?) have the same IP address.
Running ifconfig eth0 down makes the connection going away again,
unsurprisingly. Ifconfig eth0 up at that point sets the old IP again,
but does not restore connectivity; xenbr0 still has the assinged IP
address.
And if the bridge should be setup by hand rather than using the network
script, this (and how to do it) should be documented in the xen
package(s).

I'm waiting for another nut sub project I've launched (Nut Packaging Standard) to make a switch to /var/run/nut, possibly separating the pid files (into /var/run) and the socket files (into /var/run/nut) So if these are the only files the user ever owns, deleting the user on purge would also be ok, as long as you check for deluser's presence first before calling it. Since its just a draft (version 0.8), could Mozilla perhaps make the community edition policy more explicitly friendly to the DFSG in a future version? e.g.: Could "Community Edition" be generally abbreviated within the program or better yet, only explicitly mentioned in the "About Firefox" window? Bug#389723: mozilla-thunderbird: IMAP Sent folder login does not work

Start Thunderbird, and write and send an email before you select a folder on the IMAP server, then (assuming Thunderbird hasn't some other reason to authenticate with that IMAP server before you sent the email), it prompts for the IMAP server login credentials as expected. However when these credentials are completed, the copy to sent folder fails, and you are prompt again after an appropriate period having been told the IMAP login failed to authenticate. Behaviour is 100% reproducible. Using dovecot IMAP server, it just logs "imap-login: Disconnected" in the mail.log, when this happens. It is a minor issue, but it looks like it is using incomplete credentials. I finally found some time to reproduce this bug on my machine. Since I also use an USB dongle it wasn't that difficult. Then I played around with the software a little bit and found that using bluez-utils 2.25 works fine (you might have to unplug/plug your dongle) but 3.5 doesn't. Nothing really new about this one. But I also tried running 2.25 and only replaces /usr/sbin/hcid with the 3.5 version and it also failed. This is probably not suprising for those who know how this thing works, but just in case some tries to dig into it, I thought I better get this info archived. hcid received some major rewriting and a lot of new dbus stuff, so I stopped debugging there. But we surely need to find a solution for this. It must be ENV{PHYSDEVDRIVER}==, it is just a kernel supplied
environment variable.
