[Clamav-users] OpenBSD3.3 - quick how-to
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Building clamAV from the latest CVS on OpenBSD is not that difficult. After you've obtained the source and run configure. Then edit */Makefile (there are a few of them), remove all refereneces to -lc_r, and change all -pthread to -lpthread. Then run make and if all's OK run make install (make install needs to be run as root). As documented in the clamav-milter INSTALL notes, clamav-milter doesn't install on vanilla OpenBSD, since that doesn't come with the necessary software. For help in that read clamav-milter/INSTALL. - -Nigel - -- Nigel Horne. Arranger, Composer, Typesetter. NJH Music, Barnsley, UK. Does the entry in there match /etc/mail/sendmail.mc? Did you remember to rebuild sendmail.cf from the mc file? You shouldn't put temporary .sock files in /var/lib, that isn't the purpose of /var/lib. It depends on the operating system you're running, but I suggest using /var/run/clamav-milter.sock > LIM - -Nigel - -- Nigel Horne. Arranger, Composer, Typesetter. NJH Music, Barnsley, UK. [Clamav-users] Problems with 770 permissions.
I have some files and folders with 770 permissions, I've added the clamav user to the group of these files, but when I'm scanning these files through the daemon it says : Can't access the file ERROR. Just for making sure I tried reading the same file after doing su clamav, and it worked. The only solution I found is to run clamd as root, which I don't like. Can you see what's wrong? Thanks, -Amir. --- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf ___ Clamav-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/clamav-users
