With so many people being able to get 5G Home Internet and Starlink, I can't believe the R's aren't trying to scale back the BEAD program. And focus on affordability rather than speed, like maybe bring back something that looks like ACP to make Starlink affordable. But maybe it's too late to get the toothpaste back in the tube. The letters that constitute BEAD represent words likely not to be popular after January (well, except Broadband). Are there clawback clauses baked in somewhere? I’m not really a gambler, but if I had to bet, things that had those letters would be on the short wish list to try to reel back in.
