RE: Setting account creds dynamically while using GoogleAdsClient

2022-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Saurabh,

I'm Kevin from the Google Ads API Team.

If you want to dynamically configure your properties file for the Java client
library, I suggest you reach out to the client library authors by posting in
this link as they are better equipped to address client library concerns.

Re: Google Ads Api returns different type of ad_network

2022-03-31 Thread Trieu Pham
I have the same question.
I have created many reports base network value.
I would like to change the network value from Google Adwords to Google Ads.
However, the new values of network on GoogleAds are not mapping with
GoogleAdwords.
I have checked data and made an assumption as below:
Could you please help me check my assumption?
Thanks

Performance Max campaign from Location view

2022-03-31 Thread Johan Alpne
Hello support team!

When I query the API using the location_view resource, my response does not
contain any PERFORMANCE_MAX campaigns. If I instead query the campaign
resource they are returned in the response, so they are definitely in the
account.

Is this intended? If so, could you give a short explanation why that is the
case?

If it's not intended or just not implemented yet, do you have an ETA?

Best regards,
Johan

Re: Are Ad Customizer Attributes availiable in the API yet?

2022-03-31 Thread Seán Hayes
Thanks, that clarifies things a bit.

One thing is that with the feed_item data is that it had a "policy_infos"
attribute I could query to see if the feed mapping was dissaproved for any
reason (customizer text values containing bad language, for example). This
does not seem to be available for ad_group_criterion_customizer

Could you clarify if that kind if information is available in any capacity
for Ad Customizer Attributes?

RE: Getting Listing Groups (shopping) for Performance Max campaing

2022-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Boris,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

Using Performance Max retail campaigns, an AssetGroupListingGroupFilter lets
you partition your products into groups. This is referred to as product groups
in the UI. You can group using multiple dimensions, letting you include or
exclude products. To learn more about listing groups in general, you may see
this guide on how to create listing groups. Also, note that Performance Max
retail campaigns listing groups differ from standard Shopping campaigns.
Listing group filters are not used to set bids (like in standard Shopping
campaigns) but rather to include or exclude a set of products. For more
information, you may refer to this page.

Does deleting a Feed delete its underlying feed items

2022-03-31 Thread Seán Hayes

Hi

Another Ad customizer question. I'm migrating to RSA Ad customizers and had
an older data feed that only applied customizers to ETAs. While setting up
the RSA Ad customizers I seemed to have hit the account limit for
customizers/feed items.

I had deleted the older data feed (i.e. the non-RSA one) a few hours
previously, so I am wondering if the underlying feed items it had are still
being somehow being considered in the account limit?

I had tried deleting the feed items through a bulk upload file on the data
feed page but i get an error saying: "Could not update data set because it
has been deleted"

Some clarification would be appreciated.

PermissionDenied, even when setting LoginCustomerId

2022-03-31 Thread francis....@gmail.com
Hi there,

I'm getting this error when calling GoogleAdsService.SearchAsync with Net
SDK v10:

Status(StatusCode="PermissionDenied", Detail="The caller does not have
permission", DebugException="Grpc.Core.Internal.CoreErrorDetailException:
{"created":"@1648740607.03700","description":"Error received from peer

caller does not have permission","grpc_status":7}")

It works for most customers, but some requests fail with this error. I'm
already setting the LoginCustomerId. What else should I look for?

I can provide the logs privately if needed.

Thank you,

Francis

Querying gclid

2022-03-31 Thread robd003
Hey guys,

I was wondering if there was an easy way to issue a query that would get me
the ad id that was run along with the money spent for that ad click from
just a gclid.

I've been looking through the documentation but I haven't found anything
that would let me resolve gclid in the current version, although it looked
like it used to be available in the click_view resource.

Thanks,

Google Lead Form CRM inport issue

2022-03-31 Thread Suzanne Collins

[image: Lead Issue.png]We have received about 5 leads in the last two days
from our Google Lead Ads, that look like this (screen grab above), coming
from our Zapier connector.

We are not getting an IP address that we could use to filter out to see if
this is spam or not. Is there a chance it’s an encoding issue versus a spam
issue? We are not seeing anything in our AdWords account to note there's an
issue?

Is this due to the new Google App that is in play and we need to switch to
for our Zapier account?

RE: Get managed customer in Google Ads API

2022-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Based on the migration documentation , for the ManagedCustomerService
equivalents in the Google Ads API Service, they are now
CustomerClientLinkService and CustomerManagerLinkService , and to get customer
clients, you may use the customer_client report resource.

You may refer to this customer_client and click the "Help me build a query"
button. It will lead you to the Google Ads Query Builder . From this, you can
build a database of customer queries. I would also suggest you try the query
you built with the Query Validator tool for checking.

Hi Seán,

Thank you for the reply.

To further investigate the issue, could you provide a screenshot of the whole
UI where we can see the reason for the disapproved ad customizer attributes for
Responsive search ads? This information will help us check if it is possible to

You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not

RE: PermissionDenied, even when setting LoginCustomerId

2022-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Francis,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

As per this guide , if your access to the customer account is through a manager
account, this header is required and must be set to the customer ID of the
manager account.

To elaborate, if your OAuth2 credentials were generated using a user / email
address associated to your manager account, you will need to specify that
manager account's ID as the login-customer-id. Let me know how this goes on
your end.

Best regards,

Heidi

RE: Does deleting a Feed delete its underlying feed items

2022-03-31 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Seán,

Thank you for reaching out to our API support team.

In the API's perspective and as for feed items, they are generally managed
through a different service. That said, you will need to perform a separate
deletion request using that said service, to complete the removal of both feed
and feed items.

However, since you mentioned deleting the feed items through a bulk upload
file, then this indicates that you are using the Google Ads UI instead of the
API. For issues encountered through the UI, you may reach out instead to the
Google Ads Product Support team via this link, for further guidance.

Now, in the API's perspective once more, you can use the feed_item report to
verify whether there are still feed items within your account that require
deletion. I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Peter Laurence

Empty Result in GetCampaigns in Google Ads API

2022-03-31 Thread Rukesh Prajapati
Hello all,

I am currently working on shifting an API from Adwords API to Google Ads
API.
I followed the below guidelines
https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-php/tree/main

After that, I tried to run the sample example code of 'GetCampaigns.php'.

However, I get an empty response.
Below are my request code piece:
$googleAdsServiceClient = $googleAdsClient->getGoogleAdsServiceClient();
$query = 'SELECT campaign.id, campaign.name FROM campaign ORDER BY
campaign.id';
$stream =$googleAdsServiceClient->searchStream($customerId, $query);

I logged the $stream from here.
I got following:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1n7OvhKJlOwEZ0YKuaYyBC0Bb7f3AuQ1OT_G_coAcfiE/edit?usp=sharing

I could not get the Campaigns.

Please help.

Regards,
Rukesh

Google ads API authentication errors

2022-03-31 Thread Edmond Poon
I've been trying to follow the examples and documentation for the google
ads API, but I haven't been able to complete a successful request. I
currently have my developer token, client_id, client_secret, and
refresh_token in my google ads YAML file, but I'm constantly getting
authentication errors. Without adding any explicit scopes when generating
the refresh token, I get the error below:

google.api_core.exceptions.PermissionDenied: 403 Request had insufficient
authentication scopes. [reason: "ACCESS_TOKEN_SCOPE_INSUFFICIENT" domain:
"googleapis.com" metadata {key: "method" value:
"google.ads.googleads.v9.services.GoogleAdsService.SearchStream'}

metadata {key: "service" value: "googleads.googleapis.com"}].

I thought the issue was not explicitly adding the adwords scope for the
SearchStream call, but generating a new refresh token with that scope gave
me another error shown below:
google.auth.exceptions.RefreshError: ('unauthorized_client: Unauthorized',
{'error': 'unauthorized_client', 'error_description': 'Unauthorized'}).

I'm pretty confident that I followed the documentation correctly, so I was
wondering if anyone had any advice on how I could tackle this issue. If it
helps, I'm getting the errors above when trying the get_campaigns.py
example. Thanks!

Re: stream return any resultsets or not?

2022-03-31 Thread cv
Hi Nirmita,

It was not available. Only search method have results count. I got reply
here

.

   1. With searchStream the only way to know the number of results is to
loop through all of them and to increment a counter. This limitation is
specific to the Google Ads API, not this library, this is because there is
no field total_results_count in the SearchGoogleAdsStreamResponse

 like
   there is in the SearchGoogleAdsResponse

So that I can raise the issue to my team, would you be able to also provide the
CSV file that you have uploaded in your user list manually and did not
encounter any issue on size (reach) on each active network? It will also be
helpful if you can provide the user list name or ID where you uploaded it

API Limits

2022-03-31 Thread Roman Bondarenko
Hello team!

I am keep reading about API daily limits and it's 15 000 operations per
day...
But in the doc I didn't manage to find where I can checkout how many
operations did my integration have? Is there a place where I can checkout
API current operations usage for account?

Thanks a lot!
