Audience lists / UserLists based on YouTube Videos

2018-11-28 Thread 'Heavy Butter' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello there :)

I can create and manage audience lists / user lists based on users who
watched my videos via ads.google.com.
But I don't seem to find a way to create these lists via the AdWords API.
Is there any? I manage around 10k Videos, so it would require a huge amount
of time to create those lists manually and not via API.

The same question was asked in 2016
 and
2017 ,
but it wasn't an option back then. Is it now?

Kind regards
HeavyButter

Audience list / user list based on YouTube Videos

2018-11-28 Thread 'Heavy Butter' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello there,

Is there any way? Or is it not yet implemented in the API?

Re: Audience lists / UserLists based on YouTube Videos

2018-11-28 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

Via the AdWords API, you can setup remarketing and audience targeting as
discussed in this guide
. You
can target several types of audiences based on their interactions

 on
your website.

However, so I can better identify if what you are describing is indeed
supported via the AdWords API, could you provide to me the screenshot from
the AdWords UI where you mentioned you are able to target audiences?

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Ошибка ADS api метод BudgetOrderService v201809

2018-11-28 Thread dev . zolle
Я получаю бюджет по каждому аккаунту клиента из личного кабинета агенства
методом BudgetOrderService v201809 на языке Python.

def get_budget_for_client(self, client):
service = client.GetService('BudgetOrderService', version='v201809')
selector = {
'fields': ['BudgetOrderName', 'SpendingLimit', 'TotalAdjustments']
}
acc_budget = None

page = service.get(selector)
if 'entries' in page and page['entries']:
for payer in page['entries']:
acc_budget = int(payer['spendingLimit']['microAmount'])
return acc_budget

Thank you for contacting support. My apologies as our team can only provide
support in English. So I can better investigate the issue, could you
provide to me the SOAP request and response logs of both the incorrect and
correct values being returned when you retrieve your BudgetOrder
information using the BudgetOrderService.get() method? You may reply to me
via the *Reply privately to author* option.

Thank you so much for providing the screenshots. However, I'm afraid that
Youtube Users are still not yet supported to be targeted using the AdWords
API. You may only do so via the AdWords UI for now. Please follow our blog

Re: How to manipulate an object of Google Ads API's Enum class - python

Hello Camila,

Apologies for the inconvenience. I am Sreelakshmi's teammate responding on
this thread. I was checking with the team on this issue. Looks like it is
the issue related to the python client libraries as calls from other
libraries resulted in advertising_channel_type as name as expected. I would
recommend you to raise a new issue on the python client library
.

The client library specialists there will guide you better. Please let me
know if you have any other concerns.

Sitelink Extensions data is missing in the Landing Page Report

2018-11-28 Thread hazar hayat
It seems that landing page data for those clicks where user click the site
link is not available in the Landing Page Report. We are downloading this
report from the API to analyze the landing pages performance but the site
links urls data is missing in the report.

We have these sitelinks clicks landings in our internal logs with valid
GCLID(verified from click performance report) that confirms that sitelink
URL was used for the landing page but data for the same URL is missing in
the Landing Page Report.

Some data in the report has *two dashes ( -- ) *for
the ExpandedFinalUrlString field, I think these row contain the aggregate
data for site links but the site links URL is missing that we need for the
analysis.

We are using the below report definition xml.

__rdxml=%3c%3fxml+version%3d%221.0%22+encoding%3d%22utf-8%22%3f%3e%3creportDefinition%3e%3cselector+xmlns%3d%22https%3a%2f%2fadwords.google.com%2fapi%2fadwords%2fcm%2fv201806%22%3e%3cfields%3eDate%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eExpandedFinalUrlString%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eClicks%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eImpressions%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eCost%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eDevice%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eAveragePosition%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eConversions%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eAdGroupId%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eAdGroupName%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eCampaignId%3c%2ffields%3e%3cfields%3eCampaignName%3c%2ffields%3e%3cdateRange%3e%3cmin%3e20181101%3c%2fmin%3e%3cmax%3e20181101%3c%2fmax%3e%3c%2fdateRange%3e%3c%2fselector%3e%3creportName+xmlns%3d%22https%3a%2f%2fadwords.google.com%2fapi%2fadwords%2fcm%2fv201806%22%3eLANDING_PAGE_REPORT%3c%2freportName%3e%3creportType+xmlns%3d%22https%3a%2f%2fadwords.google.com%2fapi%2fadwords%2fcm%2fv201806%22%3eLANDING_PAGE_REPORT%3c%2freportType%3e%3cdateRangeType+xmlns%3d%22https%3a%2f%2fadwords.google.com%2fapi%2fadwords%2fcm%2fv201806%22%3eCUSTOM_DATE%3c%2fdateRangeType%3e%3cdownloadFormat+xmlns%3d%22https%3a%2f%2fadwords.google.com%2fapi%2fadwords%2fcm%2fv201806%22%3eGZIPPED_XML%3c%2fdownloadFormat%3e%3c%2freportDefinition%3e&developerToken=REDACTED&Authorization=REDACTED

Edit customizer feeds - Python

2018-11-28 Thread cosbgn
I'm able to add a new feed, and get the name, the feedId and the feedItemId.

Now I want to edit that feed and change the data automatically.

I do something like this:

   ad_customizer_feed = {
 'feedId': 12345678,
 'feedItemId':1234567890,
 'attributeValues':[
 {
 'feedAttributeId':1,
 'stringValue':'12'
 },
 {
 'feedAttributeId':2,
 'stringValue':'92'
 }
 ]

 feed_item_service = client.GetService('FeedItemService', 'v201809')

 feed_item_operations = { 'operator': "SET", 'operand': ad_customizer_feed}

But I get the following error:

googleads.errors.GoogleAdsServerFault: [EntityNotFound.INVALID_ID @
operations[0].operand.feedItemId]

How can I edit the values of a feed I created with python?

Re: is it possible to edit the Remarketing account to this manager with API ?

2018-11-28 Thread 'Dhanya Sundararaju (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

You can create a new account via the API using ManagedCustomerService.
Sample code in java is available here
.

For other programming languages, please refer here
. However,
to set the Remarketing account to 'This manager', you will need to do
manually via the UI  as
it is not supported via the API.

Dhanya, AdWords API Team

Re: Url reports

2018-11-28 Thread 'Teja Makani' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Jairo,

You could use the Ad Group Ad
resource
to get the final_urls

, tracking_url_template

 and
other Ad fields. You could refer to the sample report program in Java as
shown here

 and
change the fields and resource names to get the required fields. Code
samples in other languages can be found here
. Please
give it a try and let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: Sitelink Extensions data is missing in the Landing Page Report

2018-11-28 Thread 'Teja Makani' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Hazar,

The Landing Page report

 includes
all statistics aggregated by default by the UnexpandedFinalUrlString
,

one row per the URL string. Sometimes when the values for those specific
fields are not available the results might be shown as '--'. You could also
try using Final Url Report
.

Both the report types only return the available Final URLs and the Tracking
template URLs in the account. If you're looking to map the Click back to
the specific Sitelink, it might not be possible to do so, as the click may
be occurred depending on the targeting criteria that triggered the ad.
However if you could share the client customer id I will be able to take a
look and investigate further. You could use reply privately to the author
option while sharing the details request.

Regards,
Sai Teja, AdWords API Team.

Re: custom reports for negative keywords

2018-11-28 Thread Jeff Sedlik
A couple of clarifications/questions

You wrote:
"generating a custom report which would return the list of negative
keywords that caused an ad to appear is not possible through the API."

<<< my interest is in a list of negative keywords that caused an ad NOT to
appear. I expect that this is not possible through the API, but with this
clarification, can you confirm that the balance of your advice remains
applicable:

" you may use the Search Query Performance Report

 which
will return all statistics aggregated at the search terms level, one row
per combination of search terms. Then you can compare the search queries
from this report with the negative keywords on your campaigns. Then add
those negative keywords that triggered the ad as the positive targeting
criteria."

 I do not understand how negative keywords can trigger an ad. Did you
mean to write "negative keywords that would have triggered the ad if they
were positive keywords." If yes, then can you confirm that the search
query performance report includes search terms from queries that were
blocked by negative keywords.

Thanks
Jeff

Reporting: Adding IsNegative attribute results in report breakdown

2018-11-28 Thread Vojtěch Udržal
I am trying to understand how the reporting works and what are the implicit
breakdowns (segments) for each report. The following behaviour really
confuses me.
When I download the following report, I get exactly one row result - which
is understandable.
{
 'reportName': 'any report name here',
 'dateRangeType': 'ALL_TIME',
 'reportType': 'AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT',
 'downloadFormat': 'CSV',
 'selector': {
   'fields': ['Clicks', 'Id', 'AdGroupId'],
   'predicates': [{'field': 'Id', 'operator': 'EQUALS', 'values': ''}]
   }
 }

However, the moment I add IsNegative *attribute* into fields array, I get *9
rows* (all with IsNegative=False)! All rows are of same ad, so apparently *some
segmentation breakdown kicks in*. When I further add AdNetworkType1 field,
I get still 9 rows, but some differ in the ad network type.
Where can I find out, which attribute causes this behaviour? I would expect
this when selecting segment fields, but absolutely not when selecting
attribute fields.

Thanks a lot!

Is there anything else to approve or submit?

Test accounts only provide dummy data for certain services and also does
not return any performance statistics in the reports. Only production
accounts are capable of returning actual data of your AdWords entities'
