Hello Borut, I guess it would have been more accurate if I said, I manually edited the path to -not- point to the 32 bit version.
After installing the 64 bit version, without uninstalling the 32 bit version, the path looked like this: ...;c:\program files (x86)\SDCC;c:\program files\SDCC;... My edit was to delete the (x86) portion, leaving only the 64 bit path. In the morning, I'll restore the path to original and will check again, this time using only the command prompt to check the version. I will also reverse the order, so the 64 bit path comes first. I'll see if there is a path precedence by 64 bit versus 32 bit, or is the path precedence strictly first come, first served.
