Sorry not being specific enough, here is a link to all bugs regarding sdcc
in Debian:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?repeatmerged=no&src=sdcc

Bug #552867 is already fixed in the sdcc SVN.
I will try to make a patch to version 2.9.0 built on you instructions.

Bug #459877 is unsolved but is Debian specific. According to the Debian Policy
manual, the architecture specific and architecture independent files must be
processed in different parts of the debian/rules file. I hope to close this
before the next package release.

Bug #535420 is Debian specific and fixed but the fix is not released.

Bug #422599 is already added to the sdcc bug tracking system.

Regarding asxxxx. I sent an email to the only email address I found:
webmaster _at_ shop-pdp.kent.edu but it was undeliverable. I leave that to you
since it may be an sdcc specific bug.

Thanks, I won't release it. I will patch verison 2.9.0 according to your
suggestions.

Gudjon
