Follow-up Comment #3, sr #111176 (group administration): First let me say that I have flushed, reset, and restarted the block list of IPs that was created in emergency form in order to get the server back online after it was being pummeled so hard by abuse. Having wget stuck indefinitely would indicate that it was being blocked by the abuse firewall. This should unblock it.
If one of your builders was in the block list then it's not there now and it should work. Please try it again. Second let me highlight that ssh:// and https:// are separate protocols on different ports and are managed separately. Due to the differences most of our problems tend to be with anonymous HTTP because, it's anonymous, script kiddies exist, mean people exist, lots of random abuse. While SSH tends to be less trouble because, authenticated, member access only, different processes possible for managing it. Having reset the block list I see the abuse of the site by bot scrapers is starting again. We will try to deal with it with more calm now that we have more time. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.nongnu.org/support/?111176> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.nongnu.org/
