The git version I checked out yesterday even worked! It produced a much better scan (image) than the somewhat working 1.0.18 version. The old version produces a usable image but with the colors all going into rather dark brownish colors. The scan with the git-version is usable as it is. I attached the requested log-file. (Since it is too big for the list to accept it I'll only send it to you and just re-post the message to the list without it) Happy new year! Jochen
