I'm not sure but I think there was a problem with the combination of ide-scsi and sane. If you can, try to disable ide-scsi and try again. I don't know why this happens. The only other reason I can thinks of is that snapscan thinks it has to check /dev/sg0. Are you sure that there is only one installation of sane on your system? Maybe you are editing the wrong config file? Bye, Henning
