Hi,
I'm trying to make work my snapscan 310 (with the AVA-1505AE SCSI controler
on ISA card).
At this point the scanner is recognized by sane-find-scanner program but it
is not by scanimage or xscanimage.
Maybe it's a bug or maybe it's a config problem, i don't know.
I tried the FAQ, the archive mailling-list but didn't find any answerd.
Some infos :
I'm running mandrake 8.1,
i installed sane 1.0.7 from source with the snapscan patch
(snapscan-20020414.tar.gz) - the current version, isn't it ?,
To make the AVA-1505AE works i use this method :
My "lilo.conf" :
image=/boot/vmlinuz

I have to do this first :
# modprobe aha152x
Then the scanner is well know by the system :
